Food was delicious and very filling, the owner asked me if it was my first time trying the food and offered me a sample of pasta to try out, the staff were very friendly and patient with me, definitely would recommend.

Owner lived in Germany and picked the recipe up from the Turks. Meat is juicy and tender and servings are rather large - definitely worth the money! 10/10 and will come back again!

This place is probably contaminated with bacteria we got doner sandwich and doner fries last night 3 people got food poisoning with severe stomachacheWhen I called the manager who doesn’t even speak proper English he said it’s not possible and he can’t talk to the owner about this incident and he blamed it on the Uber driver that he did something to our food that’s why we all got sick

It was clean but kinda sad looking. Staff was weird and made me pay in advance.Got the shawarma plate. It was in the top 5 I've ever had. Great shawarma, would return.

Food was pretty good. Nice serving sizes for decent prices. The two guys working were nice.

I come here whenever I'm feeling like a fatass. The portion sizes are very generous for it's price

The flavor and meat is good. But never in my life have a had bread this stale and hard served to me. Waste of money to buy a meal you can't eat.

Cold, precut chicken with bad math skills. Word of warning that this is an Indian style schwarma place, I didn't know until I tried the food. I got the chicken plate and chicken doner salad. The chicken was in a pile under a cloche on the flat top and I'm pretty sure it wasn't even on. The chicken flavour is fine but being cold was a huge letdown. The salad was anemic and definitely didn't have enough lettuce to call it a salad. Overall the food is 3/5, nothing notable except that it has Indian influence in the spices. The sauces are definitely Indian style (hummus was red, maybe red pepper?). I think if I knew it wasn't Lebanese/Turkish style I would have different expectations. Lastly I'm sure it was an anomaly but I had to explain to two different people that $50 - $29.50 is $20 of change back to me instead of the $10 bill they kept trying to push to me. I had to show them on my phone calculator. Wouldn't recommend.

Been going to this spot since before covid.Sadly, I'm going to have to add Doner King to my list of boycotted food joints due to price hikes. Years ago a Classic Chicken Doner Sandwich was ~8$, now it is $13, I understand inflation this and that. However, when the owner hiked the price from the 8$ to 10$, he pleaded it was due to ingredient costs going up which is fine. But a 62.5% price in crease when the quality hasn't gotten any better, if anything went down, is ridiculous.Today was the final straw, it seems every time I go into this place now I am paying more money for hit or miss food. What you get really depends on who is making it, some employees are rude and barely fill the sandwich, some employees load it up with meat and sauce, and sometimes you just get a mediocre sandwich. There is no consistency at Doner King other than the prices consistently rising.More of a rant part here, but during my visit today I put my order for 2 doner sandwiches in. Walked over to pay and put a 20$ bill and a 5$ bill on the table, because previously that covered the order. The owner just looks at me and says "do you have a dollar?" Me being confused thinking he just wanted to round the change out or something. Nope, he didn't tell or show me the total, he just assumed I knew the prices went up again. Left me standing there like an idiot.tldr; Food can be good but its a coin flip each order whether it will be or not. Definitely not worth it for the price though, there are so many cheaper options that are better quality.

It should be called Indian Döner. The quality and taste are different than a real döner (and it's the same for shawarmas). I've tried two other places where the workers were Indian and I disliked the food. I gave it another try today (and last time) and this one was the worst. You could also smell a little bit of sweat in there.

One of my favourite shawarma places!! Meat is so tender, juicy and flavourful. Portions are also large - definitely a must when you're in the scarb/markham area!
