I visited for an anniversary dinner.I forgot to make a reservation, but they welcomed me happily ??Most of the menus are set menus, and since I went with two people, I ordered a set for two to three people. Most set menus are for 4 or more people, so we recommend going with a large group. The staff are all very kind and agile. Sometimes a robot ? will serve you ?All the dishes are delicious and look very beautiful. It's the perfect place for anniversaries and parties. However, there are edible fish, crabs, and lobsters.I felt a little sad because it was displayed in the aquarium ? I ate it with gratitude.Thank you very much for the wonderful time!Thank you so much

A large seafood emporium specializes in steamed seafoods at your table, super fresh lobster, crabs & geoducks direct from the massive tanks, nice warm atmosphere with busy vibe, large menu with large selection of combo dinners, friendly and efficient staff.

Unfortunately I didn’t think the price met its food quality. The restaurant is nice and spacious and the staff there were kind. We ordered the geoduck and it didn’t taste super fresh. The pepper soup was not as tasty as other places I’ve been to. Other dishes such as the ribs and vegetables were okay.

This place is really fancy, you wouldn't even expect it until you go inside. You mainly have to pre-order everything. It's the type of spot you would go to celebrate a special occasion with a big group. And, the lobster was 5/5 for sure. Everything was fresh. The service was really good & they even have robot servers to add to the experience. Probably one of the most hygienic restaurants I have ever been too, the utensils were wrapped, wipes available, etc. The also took a lot of care with packing up the leftovers. The bathroom even ties into the sea theme & very cute, your kids might not leave.

This review is based on November 11 (Remembrance Day)The good:The good thing about this place is the place is very comfortable to sit and dine. The place wasn’t full / packed but there a lot of spatial to maneuver (unlike hot pot places where there’s no seats or place to stand). This place will have those extra space to wait even if it is full. The food was great, we ordered the $188 seafood and vegetables (we are a family of three). The server will steam your food (you don’t have to do anything else other than wait for the steam process to finish). There is also a recessed bucket on the table to throw the food waste (you don’t need to get the server to collect and change your plates every once in awhile). The men’s washroom is clean and not smelly, hygiene was maintained well. The BadTowards the end when I come back from washroom, I a server counting the money my family put on the bill. When I went to the table, the waitress says “there not enough tips”, we were short $10.00. First of all, tipping is not by-law nor or “a must” in Canada. Secondly, the waiter / waitress is not allowed to say this (if I am the server, I will NOT say there’s not enough tips!!!). Moving forward, I replied to this server, we will count again, and she fumbled the bill booklet and coins dropped (what a disaster). At the end, we gave enough tips (10%), but I want to point out the fact that this waitress is not allowed to say there is not enough tips. If table service is satisfactory, customers will tip accordingly.I want to point out there were two female waitress. One wears glasses and speaks Cantonese and one speaks mandarin and doesn’t wear glasses. The one who said there is not enough tips is “waitress with glasses”.This is really disappointing, I highly suggest the management to instruct their staff about “tipping in Canada”. I myself will also raise this concern with local government, this is not the first restaurant I have seen with waiters / waitress issues on tips.

Seafood is tasty and fresh. Combo carry great value. Service can sometimes be somehow slow but definitely tolerable.P.S. the pepper on the sauce plate is extremely spicy. Proceed with caution if you can’t too much spicy.

I tried a $99 dinner set and it was really great value and delicious! The dinner set came with a pork intestine soup and chicken with veggies and noodles on the side to add in. There was also lobster, crispy pork, fried fish and two little veggie apps. This set could definitely feed 3 people since it felt like a LOT of food for 2.The soup tasted good with a lot of meat! And the lobster was fresh and tasted great. I felt like this was a great value for the price. We also went on a week night so it’s less busier and I personally felt the service was nice and attentive. It’s worth checking out for classic chinese dishes.

Food was ok. We ordered the steam pot menu with seafood. Portion is a little small but enough for 4 small eater adult. Service was average as there are only 2-3 staffs serving the whole store. Sometimes we need to wait for a while before someone can see us trying to order extra.

I almost stopped writing reviews because at one point, I'd realized, I'm one voice out of hundreds of thousands of people who peruse these sites, with probably similar mindset when looking for reviews : "what if this random bad review might just be a one-off?" You see, I've written about their steak/raw bar location before, and I recalled saying it was a boring experience. It wasn't because it was bad, it was just that I can't believe I actually sat through a meal, was forced to pay the prices they're asking for, and feel like I was cheated out of my money. Yes they make an effort, but no, you just don't get that feel that it was worth it. The food wasn't bad, but it just wasn't "wow"-ing. I digress. So, this time around, knowing, that this is a sister restaurant, we were thinking we should at least take a peek at what's on offer before we step in. There's a posting online through one of their various advertisers indicating they're doing the Super Combo 6.0 at a price of $178 but only if you called ahead to reserve it. We did, we reserved, asked the person helping us make the reservation if the promo price of $178 was going to be offered, the person confirmed, and so we were on our merry way. I think you can see where this is going.Upon arrival, not the first thing that really should have clued in for us, was the server asking if we'd still wanted that combo. Thinking it was odd to have asked, we confirmed we wanted it, after all, we reserved said combo. "Well, you could have reserved it, but you may not necessarily order it". This was indeed an odd thing to hear from the wait staff, so we prodded further. The reservation is made, yes, we want the combo, yes, but is the price the same?Ah! that's where things go sideways. Price is now $228, the non-reserved price. But how can that be? The person taking our reservation already confirmed we'd be able to get this combo for $178. It's not that I wasn't able to pay the difference, but on principle, the fact that I saw the advertisement, asked for it, and was confirmed that it was available, only to be denied at the time of order, is what ruins the entire experience. The member of staff asked to see this "advertisement", and unfortunately, we were unable to locate it, because we'd found all of this at home. The only information we could find, was a newly published price list, where the price is $248. At the risk of being a difficult customer, we asked to speak with the manager, just to understand why, there was a discrepancy between what we see, what the reservation told me, what now what is actually available. If there was a misunderstanding on my end, if I saw an older advertisement/menu, then the person taking down my reservation should have made me aware, or at least have called me back indicating : this offer isn't available. That's all we as the consumer wants to hear. Of course, the manager was busy, and never made an appearance. Why should we have been surprised? If something the customer wants, isn't available, then we have the right to know. If there was a change to something the customer wanted, shouldn't they be notified in a timely manner? Why then, does it feel like I just sat through a meal and feel cheated out of my money by this same chain again? This review is meant to just get people to understand, I don't hate this chain. I'm always amazed that they manage to have a pretty filled house no matter the date. There has got to be a reason people seemingly flock to the place even though I haven't had the best of experiences here. I'm just frustrated because they really made not much effort to try to inform me when pricing changes occurred. Either the person taking down our reservation just didn't bother to care and just made sure we came in, or the wait staff was instructed on this, it doesn't matter to me anymore. I don't want to make such baseless accusations, but for the team to col
