Arrived on a late friday night for some post-workout dinner after a badminton session. My friend and I each got our own claypot rice and then shared 2 dishes.Eggplant w/ fish sauce, XO garlic sauce and minced meat: Pretty good eggplant! Not the best I've ever had (Congee Wong's holds a special place in my heart) but definitely not too shabby. The eggplant was nice and soft and the sauce was great w/ rice. I think they added scallops throughout this dish as well so it was pretty hearty. Would order again.Chicken & mushroom claypot rice (w/ free range chicken): Good claypot rice. Does it beat Good Taste Casserole, no but I give it 2nd place. The crispy rice on the bottom could've been done a lil better and the sauce used on the rice could've been just a tad sweeter.Sweet n' sour pork: The pineapples had this nice spicy tang to them for some reason which was cool. The pork itself was actually decent! There were more fatty pieces than I'd have liked but most of the pork remained crispy. Definitely not top 5 material for SNS pork or anything.Service was pleasant even though we arrived 1.5 hr from closing time haha. Will definitely have to come back to try the hotpot which is what they're known for.

Not only was the “kiddie pot” or “kid in the pot” tasty beyond compare i could almost sense a tinge of 義薄雲天.

I went to get takeout, and because I didn’t pay in cash, but in debit, I was asked to pay an extra ten dollars, so I should go out of business as soon as possible!

My go to place for their peppery chicken soup. It’s the best. Did you know you can bring your own pot and they fill it to the max?! It’s amazing!

Sweet and sour pork chop 5/5. Balanced flavour with gas of wok. The portion is generous too.Octopus w preserved meat clay pot rice 3/5. It was just on average. Octopus meat patty is bouncy, but the preserved meat is too fat, more than half of them are >80% fat and are not edible. The bottom is crispy but on the dry side a bit. I wish I had the typical soy sauce is slightly sticky and sweet.Side note: Like the complementary soup with ingredients such as pork, carrot and papaya. It’s not salty at allParking: Plenty of parking off peak hours

My boyfriend and I came during dinner, the wait was only around 15 mins. The food is mediocre and felt like it was overhyped.. We ordered pepper pig stomach chicken pot and a clay pot rice. The lap mei chicken mushroom clay pot rice was decent but the burnt crispy rice part by the pot wasn’t crispy and a bit hard to chew but the flavor was good. The famous pepper chicken pot with pig stomach on the other side was not great at all. The chicken felt like it was pre-boiled for a very long time and was added later on with the pig stomach and the soup to heat it up. I wish someone would put down a review saying that the chicken was super tough to chew and is quite flavorless. The pig stomach is normal and the broth itself isn’t bad but you can definitely taste the msg there. Honestly I wouldn’t pay $70 for just a hot pot broth with flavorless tough chicken, not including any hot pot side dishes. The waiters are nice but the atmosphere isn’t great. There was this table with 4 mainland Chinese talking super loud, semi-drunk and sneezing and spitting into cups, grossss. The floor is also quite dirty like the other reviewer mentioned, overall it felt like a dirty restaurant you would experience in China. Would not return for sure.
