So impressed with this family owned restaurant. Some of best Asian food in Auburn area. Service was great and you can tell that they really appreciate your business. So glad we discovered Lucky Pot and it has become our " go to " place for Asian food.

Went for dinner here on a whim, had a great meal and enjoyed the food until the bill came. The waitress actually had the nerve to insist on a larger tip!! I was totally shocked and would have taken back what I had already left but she had it in her hand. It's disgusting behaviour to act like this. A tip should not be expected but a bonus for excellent service from your server. I will never return.

If you're looking for authentic canto dishes for reasonable prices, this is definitely one of them. Situated in the southeast corner of Steeles and Brimley Ave, parking can be a pain. The plaza is tiny, limited parking spots and tight to manoeuvre around. This place gets busy. If you don't make reservations, you can leave your number and they'll call you when the table is ready. We came here on a Sunday at 5:30pm (thinking we're pretty early to beat the crowd) but we were wrong. We waited 20 minutes for a table. They have complimentary peanuts, soup and Chinese desserts at the end of your meal. Overall a good place for a family dinner or lunch. Not a big restaurant - roughly 13 tables. Great service, waitresses are all friendly and attentive.

Had a reservation for dinner on a Sunday night. This place gets really busy for dinner. Min party of 6 required for a reservation and recommended. Service was really good. We ordered a set dinner which was really great value and top off with a few extras. Order: Free range chicken, 2 lobsters stir fried with ginger & onion, steamed whole tilapia, sweet & sour pork, special duck, seafood with veggies, chinese broccoli & beef, fish maw soup, salted fish & chicken fried rice. Everything was really good except for the fried rice which was mediocre. Would definitely come back.

Lucky pot is honestly one of the best budget eat Chinese restaurants in this area. The food is always, always consistently good and you never have to worry that you'd order something that you won't like. Everything is made to absolute perfection. We often get take out from this restaurant via Uber eats although it is just steps away. The reason is, this place gets soooo packed that it's hard to even find a table. They even rejected our take out order online once because it was so busy. I advise just ordering ahead of time to pick up at off peak hours or go during the weekday. The plaza is pretty difficult to find parking. We normally get the sweet and sour pork, satay beef and enoki mushrooms, and the eggplant with minced pork dish. You cannot go wrong with these recommendations!

The food here is great. The taste is there and the portions ain't half bad. The soup, the lobster, the chicken, the chow mein...No complaints. They lose two stars for the horrid parking. Lack of it. I think there's a sign to state to park at a nearby church when parking is full. I think that is b.s. Your choice of location at Brimley and Steeles was poor. I guess you'd prefer to serve the local residents who's within walking distance. Shame.

2023 January 3★Small convenience store at the corner at busy intersections. Accessible by buses. They sell snacks, drinks, ice cream, cigarettes and some other nicnaks. Lots of lottery. No issues.Parking limited in the small plaza.

Had a great time there. Generally a busy restaurant and frequently need to wait for a table. Service was excellent. The crab with rice was delicious. The other dishes were decent as well, except the vegetable was bland. The price was reasonable. Great time with friends. Everything went well.

Great food, but overpriced. The same pig stomach wrapped chicken soup sells for $38 here but $20 elsewhere. Everything in the pictures were good. The eel was ~$100+. The pumpkin sago dessert soup was unique for me, I haven't seen it anywhere else. Definitely recommend this place but prepare to spend.

Heard about lucky pot long time. Decided to order take out. Shredded Chicken with scallions oil 5/5, Black pepper beef ribs 4/5, 芹菜炒富貴花 4/5, spicy eggplant pot 5/5, 雲耳勝瓜炒吊片4/5 (a bit oily), sweet and sour pork ( cannot rate, because I told them to separate the source, but they forgot, so the ribs are getting soggy , taste wise is good) The restaurant is quiet busy and the atmosphere is only 3/5 but the service are pretty good and friendly! Price are very reasonable The only not good is parking, very busy and most the spots are allocated to other businesses place. Overall recommended! 鑊氣小炒唔錯

Lucky Mart is the most convenient spot in my neighborhood and Mr Lucky behind the counter is a pleasure to interact with. Very attentive, during the pandemic always wore a mask and kept everything very clean. My regular spot for lottery tickets

My cousin recommend this place for us. Due to the covid not that much tables for indoor dining. They first sat us outside but it was so cold we sat inside. The staff is very friendly and service is fast. The foods taste good and will probably come back here again

**** 4 out of 5 stars ****It was my birthday, and since we cannot go dine-in, the next best thing is to order takeout through Ubereats! I order a double fried Lobster with Maggi sauce, black pepper beef short ribs, shredded chicken, and fish with Chinese vegetables. All the dishes were very well made, the flavours were very authentic. My order should have came with Chinese desserts, but they forgot to put it in. I was looking forward to the dessert, as many reviewers said that they make it well. Unfortunately, they lost 1 star.

I order take out over the weekend. The portion they gave is very generous. The stir fried pig intestine dish was horrible, it has very little flavour and the intestine was bitter ( didn't wash all the stuff out properly I am assuming) I would not recommended it. Their eggplant dish was amazing, I would highly recommend it. The rest of the dishes are mediocre. They also give you a free desert when you order their combos, I got taro sago which was a bonus. Overall I would say the price and portion are decent for this place but the flavour and taste is lacking.

I visited Lucky Pot to get take out during the pandemic. Service was fast. I called ahead of time and the server told me the order would be ready in 20 minutes. I arrived a little bit earlier than that and my order was nicely packaged sitting at the front.I had ordered the spicy eggplant with minced pork, sweet and sour pork, and garlic stirfried snowpeas. Food tasted delicious! In particular, the sweet and sour pork was fantastic and crunchy! They also gave complimentary grass jelly dessert as part of the meal.
