Here's my update: contact their manager Betty, refuse to negotiate nicely, instead, she insist their employees and food are qualified.She said if you wait for your food for 40mins in her restaurant is normal and said that server/manager who served me that day is just a part time employee and won't come back for work forever.Amazed by her attitude.I will contact you asap, I'm quite sure it is RED pen which means death and bad luck in my culture.I do doubt why a restaurant have a purple pen to collect signature instead of normal color.More importantly, please pay attention to your food safety and the attitude of your servers who should give customers appropriate service which they are not doing right now.Now I need that serve to apologize to me.I believe more people will know my experience from your restaurant.The manager curse on their customers and the food are not cooked properly.THE FOOD ARE still FROZEN.Be aware of what you are going to put in your mouth.And good luck don't be cursed.

Pretty good AYCE, can’t point my finger at anything (inherently) bad about my experience there.Went weekend late afternoon and the dishes were served surprisingly promptly and all of them felt fresh, despite the (very) crowded dining area at the time.The small-ish potion size for the rice was a minor hassle but then again I’m not used to Japanese cuisine (yet) so that might’ve been a norm. Was also a quick learning as you can just order multiple servings in one go.Used up plates were cleared out extremely quickly. They have enough ppl literally patrolling the dinning area for this as well as refill/other stuff, but they stay far enough away for your privacy.I went to scout the place out as a potential gathering spot for my huge group. Needless to say I was more than satisfied. Great experience.

If you plan to go on the weekend, it is better to make a reservation first. The order comes very quickly. They offer very fresh Simon sashimi.
If I could give no stars for the food, I would , firstly, there was no selection for food to order. The selection was extremely limited.Ordered grilled shrimps and both the times there was hair in the shrimps, brought it to the attention of the staff who apologized, brought me another one, but it was again with hair in it.That definitely did not impress me .The beef , lamb, and chicken were all very dehydrated!!The quality of the food was horrible!! Spent $189.00 and was a total waste!!The only items we enjoyed were desert, which once again was very limited. The ginger milk really stands out !! That was the only item I would highly recommend. The rest of their menu is pure garbage!! ZERO QUALITY CONTROL.Will highly NOT RECOMMEND THIS MATSUDA RESTAURANT LOCATION TO ANYONE!!THE MATSUDA AT DON MILLS IS DEFINITELY BETTER!!

My go to location for all you can eat sushi. This location has service and atmosphere that matches the food. Fish is so fresh and service is very quick, friendly and efficient. The snow roll is one of my favourite specialty rolls at this location. The non sushi items are great! A special shoutout to Victor. Always provides great customer service and has made me a loyal customer for life. Really goes above and beyond to make every visit amazing with his friendliness!Kid-friendliness: A lot of variety for kids that may not have grown accustomed to sushi yet. They often like getting the skewers and Victor goes out of his way to get the preferred jello colour for kids.
