My first time here and while waiting my turn to order, I was very impressed by how Rosemary was speaking so nicely while moving very quickly gathering the order for the customer. When it was my turn, I was greeted warmly with ‘hello, what can I get for you’? Rosemary was so kind, sweet and cool.Her customer service is phenomenal!Mason who was the cashier was really nice and gracious. I was very satisfied with the exceptional service I received and the baked goods were very delicious.

This bakery is easy to miss. But as soon as you walk in, the smell that greets you makes you forget everything you came for and instead you start wondering how many types of strudel/danish/cookies/pies you can eat in one go. My favourite product is their whole wheat loaf which is long enough to last a week and sliced thinly enough that you can justify having 5 slices each day. The products are highly consistent, you always get exactly what you expect. I recently got the oatmeal cookies and they are fantastic. The prices are very reasonable and the service is good. Being able to watch the bakers do their thing behind the counter is lots of fun and the staff are very helpful. I'm developing a real dependence on this bakery and would probably come here even if I didn't live in Scarborough. Thanks so much Montmartre, and I can't wait to try the rest of your provisions.
