Our first time in this restaurant, we drove about half an hour from Toronto downtown core. Came in at 10am on a weekdays and got a table without waiting, the service (one waiter running the whole floor), food, portion was all good. Washroom located in the basement and it could be cleaner since both toilets were kind of messy, one stocked and the other one got a splash of “brown” that was quite nasty. Overall, it’s an ok place to have a fair meal for a good price

Eggs Benedict was gross way too sour wait staff wasn’t approachable and was very hard to get ahold of, initially forgot one of my drinks. Then when I finally got ahold of someone I complained and she responded with “this is the first time I’ve heard anyone say anything” and offered to do nothing. So I paid and left. Can’t see myself going back.

Brilliant old school set up. Been going occasionally since it was known as the Clipper.Good ambience and food. We need more places like Rosemary & Thyme.I know from experience that it's extremely difficult to find success in the restaurant industry. This place manages to hang on.Cheers!!

I recently visited Rosemary and Thyme for brunch and was thoroughly impressed with the entire experience. Right from the get-go, the service was exceptional; the staff were friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure our meal was enjoyable. The portion sizes are generous, providing great value for the money, and each dish we tried was delicious, perfectly balancing flavors and textures. It’s evident that Rosemary and Thyme cares deeply about the quality of their food and the satisfaction of their customers. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-notch brunch experience!

Ok went here with a buddy who recommended it. No wait on a Sunday for brunch. Got seated right away but restaurant was full.Interior of restaurant was old fashion and the seat I sat in was ripped.Waitress came and took our orders right away. Cash only today as debit machine was “down” but they did have a sign on the door warning of this.I ordered the lumberjack breakfast which came with 5 bacons or sausage, 3 eggs, 2 pancakes and breakfast potatoes. I told them I wanted my bacon burnt and sure enough they did it as I desired.I opted for the upgraded cinnamon swirl pancakes and the loaded potatoes which had onions cheese and peppers on them. The food came very quickly which was great and it looked fantastic. The pancakes were delicious, the bacon was perfectly cooked how I asked and the eggs were the perfect consistency. The potatoes although a little bigger pieces had a great amount of topping on them. All in all I would rate the food an 8/10.The only complaint I have is that I don’t know if the value is there. We paid $61.92 with tax before tip for two people. The thing that really upset me was that they charge $3.50 for a can of pop. So no refills, and the price of fountain pop or more. But again once in a while no problems but to eat here regularly would be too costly.

Rosemary & Thyme is a classic Scarborough diner that I hadn't eaten at in years.Went on a Saturday morning around 10-11AM, the place was packed, but there were two tables open. One waiter greeted us and said we'd be served shortly and sure enough, about 30 seconds later, another server sat us.The menu is quite large, but we like to be prepared so we mostly figured out what we wanted before hand. I ordered the Salvo Eggs Benedict (smoked salmon and avacado) and my girlfriend the French toast, scrambled egg whites, bacon and sausage.Laaarrrge portions. The home fries are very unique as they're kind of like Greek potatoes (herby and seasoned) and then fried on a griddle. Very flavourful, just wished they were a bit more crispy. Eggs for the Salvo Benedict were cooked perfectly and the hollandaise was seasoned well and not overbearing.Proof that Rosemary & Thyme is a proper diner; the sausage skin has a good snap to it. Small detail, but nothing is sadder than a soft mushy sausage.

Super disappointed, ordered breakfast at home for an easy birthday morning before work. I ordered one deep fried home fries one regular. Both showed up deep fried but it was so fried it was almost boreline burnt. The turkey bacon was also burnt not one part was remotely soft. Breakfast is usually the meal I never really have complaints about but this was definitely not enjoyable at all.Me and my significant other were not able to even to finish our meals, Confused why anyone would even think it's okay to send that out and expect it to be edible. :(
