This cafe is a joke, just drive by and go to Starbucks instead. Appearantly they have a new policy in place where you can only use your laptop on one half of the cafe, so when I went in to find a table I was told by the worker that if I sat in the space that was empty I would not be able to use my laptop. Not sure how this makes sense if 99% of the population requires their laptop to study/ get work done. Not only that but they never answer their phone which is annoying. Overall the cafe shouldn't even be in existence if they plan to dictate the type of work their paying customers are allowed to do. Very very dumb.

I recently tried Edill’s coffee house. Even though it was a 20 min drive from downtown it was worth it. Love the ambiance. The cafe is spacious with plenty of natural light coming in. Their chocolate brownie was so so so good and not to mention their Americano. Light and hits the spot. Most importantly I loved their Biscoff Tiramisu. It was phenomenal. Overall 10/10 ✊?

The aesthetic of this coffee shop was really bright and clean looking. The employees were polite and nice as well. The food and coffee were nothing special but still tasty.Warning for laptop users: There is a laptop and non laptop user side. When I arrived on a Saturday afternoon, the laptop side was full and I could only find seating on the “non laptop” side. When I kindly asked the barista if I could use my laptop just for an hour while I wait for my friends, she explained that this side is to encourage more engagement and conversations. What I didn’t understand is that I was told I could use my phone or an iPad which to me, still meant I would be on a device? I felt like this division lacks a little rationale especially considering a cafe/coffee shops expect to have a large demographic of people who want to use their laptops for work.Anyways, not sure if I would come back again if I could go elsewhere for similar drinks, food and space where I can choose whether or not I will use my devices.

I really like the newly renovated space!It's a much bigger space with lots of tables and very comfy seating. The space is now divided in half, with laptop seating on the left and non-laptop seating on the right. I've read several recent comments here, complaining about the lack of laptop seating space, but the larger space actually allows for more overall laptop seating. There's even plenty of space to add more tables and seating. It's also important to remember that this is ultimately a retail space that needs to make money. It's not meant to act solely as a library or study area.The food and drink options are somewhat limited, but the dishes and drinks that they do serve are done very well and are reasonably priced. The Creamy Tocado - cream cheese bagel with avocado and tomato is delicious! The banana chocolate loaf was tasty and moist. The lattes were creamy and soothing. It's also nice to finally see proper ceramic mugs available for dining in, instead of just disposable paper cups...it really makes a HUGE difference. It would be nice to see metal cutlery available in the future as well. The service was exemplary as well.My only knock here is the dead silent atmosphere. There is no ambient music or background noise...just the echos of chatter/whispers and the background work noise. Some soft, quiet music of any type would really add to the atmosphere.Overall, there is a TON of potential here with the newly renovated space. There are very few decent cafes in the Scarborough area and I'm hopeful that this becomes the best. With just a few more food and fresh bakery options and some ambience, this could be my new favourite relaxing morning spot.Parking: Lots of free parking down the side and back of the building.

Edill’s cafe has a beautiful interior design that gives modern and cute vibes. Customer service is absolutely amazing, everyone is so kind and welcoming. Definitely a pretty place to study at with tasty drinks. 100% recommend, 10/10!!

Edill herself personally took it upon herself to help us and made sure I tried my drink and actually liked it and if I wanted something extra she gave it to me even though the line was extremely long and the place was extremely busy. She was kind and made sure we liked what we got. The employees were so kind and went above and beyond for my sandwich. What a great experience! You guys go check the place out!!!
