This local caribbean spot hits close to home. The gentlemen working there is really kind and welcoming. The food is authentic so nothing out of the ordinary. I am a big fan of the patties and jerk chicken with rice. Would reccomend.

My regular place closed down and I haven't had good jerk chicken with rice and peas in a while. I knew this place was close to home and decided to give it a try recently. Order: Medium Jerk Chicken with Rice & Peas, Coleslaw. Smoke on the chicken was fantastic, tender but moist, they put some glaze/gravy over the chicken. The rice used Black Eyed Peas instead of the traditional kidney beans. Rice was really good, especially with some gravy on top. Slaw was also very good. Will definitely come back and try some of their other dishes in the future.

Great place to get great chicken roti. ?I also get the beef patti on a bun. Super delicious. ?Fresh coleslaw, cheese, beef patti, and all in a fresh bun. And only $5. ??Service is always friendly and the food is excellent here.

Went here for the first time with my 2 friends and the man serving our food was so kind and helpful! He let us try a sample of the food and it was delicious. I got the curry chicken and my friends got the j*** chicken and both were great! Will be coming back here again ◡̈

I can't say enough about the kind young man who welcomed me, let me use his phone, fed me delicious snacks and a bottle of water, and sold me the best goat curry I have ever had, to take home, with rice and peas and amazing cole slaw.9-00-p9My car died at the intersection of Lawrence and Scarborough Golf Club Road and I just managed to pull into the parking lot of this small restaurant in the corner mall. The proprietor of the subway shop in the same plaza gave a very rude "no, we don't let anyone use our phones" when I asked if I could call CAA. Apparently it is not a friendly place, I have since learned.The food from Sunset was delicious, probably the best Caribbean food I have had, and they sell the most outstanding, homemade I believe, Jamaican rum cake.Please do what you can to frequent this place - the food and the staff are beyond terrific!

Came in for something to eat after my hospital appointment. Paid for the regular party as well as a loaded patty, but when I opened the bun for the loaded one there was nothing but coleslaw on it. At this point I was almost home.. the picture showed tomatoes and lettuce on a coco bun. Wouldn’t recommend as I won’t be going back here unless I want a coleslaw sandwich.
