Great little Irish place. Favourite place for Bangers and Mash. Also good burgers. And a Guinness.Parking: Tara Inn is part of a strip mall. No lack of parking spots.Wheelchair accessibility: Not all areas are accessible but there are enough that are.

The Tara Inn is a bit of a staple in the neighbourhood. Sort of unsuspecting for where it is located. The server(s) and service is always great. Some nights have live music which is always enjoyed. We go here for a quick “moms-night-out” and it never disappoints.Food is pretty tasty - decently priced. True pub food for sure.Smells like a pub in a good way and the bathrooms are clean!

I wish I lived here. Having a pint of Guinness at the Tara with my friends always takes my blues away.

I have been going to the Tara Inn for over 30 years. Two weeks ago my wife and I stopped in for lunch as I had a doctors appointment in two hours.I ordered the hamburger with fries and my wife a poutine. With only maybe 4 tables with customers it was slowWe waited One hour and 20 minutes to be served a cold lunch that cost Nearly 80 dollars with tip including 1 beer and 2 pops that I did not order but was charged 6 dollars forJust curious why we were ignored while customers that came in after us had eaten and left.Is it a skin colour issue?????????

I really want to be nice about this place as the neighborhood really needs a a good pub but unfortunately this one just isn't very well run.Have eaten a couple of times found the food has been pretty substandard both times. Cheese that doesn't melt, chili with no kick... And deep fried stuff that tastes like the oil needs a change. There is a feeling of dive bar even though I don't think that's the intention... If you want an early 90s time warp plaza pub this is your place. Staff seem to turnover quite quickly which I think probably tells you something.Lastly I've noticed every time I go in that the owner and his woman sit at the end of the bar drinking the profits... listening to terrible 1970 pop on Spotify constantly... suggest maybe you use that money to tidy the place up a bit and buy a jukebox lol (jukeboxes are revenue streams btw:)
