What a great brunch spot. Everything was delicious. The hollandaise is one of the best I've had. If the pork belly benedict is on the menu, order it!

My partner and I visited Mirepoix in October 2023 (apologies for the delayed review) and thoroughly enjoyed it. Well worth a visit. It's a hidden little gem, across the street from Giant Tiger (just don't park in the parking lot otherwise you'll be towed). The food was delicious and was served like it was a fine dining restaurant. Everyone was lovely and polite, thank you!We even got to see a regular getting a birthday present from the staff, which was so sweet, as it put a huge smile on his face. We'll be back again, whenever we're in St. Catharines again <3

TL;DR Awesome place with unique spins on classic dishes, top tier service, and a cool vibe. The food is incredible. I have gone a couple of times, and you can tell that everything is made with passion. The food is balanced and satisfying, and the portion sizes are about as big as you can get while still having nice plating. They always have something new to try. Whatever the special is, you should probably get it. I had the Bunny Benny, which was eggs benny on their delicious sourdough with braised rabbit. It was incredible, and the eggs were perfectly cooked for a runny yolk with a fully cooked white. The service is super friendly, but also clearly very busy doing tons of other stuff. Surprisingly, with the multitude of tasks being done, I didn't go very long without coffee (which was 416, by the way, best around) or water, and any questions were handled in a friendly but concise manner. The atmosphere is cozy, but a bit tight for my liking since I'm a pretty large person. It can also be a bit loud, depending on other customers. If you look around, there is a lot of quirky stuff around on shelves. There is also local art on the walls, which I think is super cool.

Outstanding lunch—book it!Driving from out of town we gave it a try.Two of us had the classic breakfast. Others had the lobster florentine Benedict.Real lobster ladies and gentlemen! Yum!Eggs only one way but you will enjoy the perfect presentation. If you don’t usually like beans, do give theirs a little taste—you will not doubt finish it! And I have never tasted the wonderful and generous portion of pork belly that I enjoyed here. Meaty with perfect caramelisation.Don’t let the slightly higher breakfast price scare you off. Completely worth it. Food quality, preparation, portions and presentation top level.Service was exceptional and subtle with a slight twist of humour. Very welcoming.Don’t let the list of rules on the blackboard throw you off—they are actually helpful. Example, don’t park in the big parking lot across the street—they will tow. Surprise—you can park right in front of the restaurant for free.Anytime we are heading to Niagara Falls for the day this will be in our list. It’s just a quick exit off the highway.Oh, and on the way out glance into the kitchen and enjoy the view of all the greens they grow for use on the restaurant.

Very small establishment that serves very small portions, going for breakfast I felt like I was jammed in a can of sardines.Food was okay, certainly not worth the price however. (Over $200 for 4 people) leaving this place left my wallet lighter and my stomach hungrier.

Busy spot. Had the French onion soup, herbed potatoes and sourdough toast.Food was terrific.Parking: There's a sign in the restaurant saying you will get towed if you park across the street in the giant tiger lot. Only parking is street parking.
