Had the misfortune of dining at this bar for the first and last time last night. Owner Kim is rude and unfriendly and her hygiene is questionable. Not her personal hygiene but her dog sits in his dog bed on top of the bar when she continually touches him. She also goes outside for a cigarette and after touching dog and cigarettes no hand washing is going on. She was rude to me at the table. My son posted a bad review while we were there and she came up to out table phone in hand demanding answers. She then had the audacity to say she wasn't rude. Of course she saw the review because her cell phone never left her hands the whole time she was working. She's very miserable looking and never once cracked a smile. She also over served a guy at the bar who became loud and beligerate then staggered out. There are so many good pubs in St. Catharines This is NOT one of them

Drinks are really reasonably priced and the food has always been fantastic. Best wings in town, and other fun options like the “grilled cheese” burger never disappoint. Kim is great with accommodating groups as well. Has always made my friends and I feel very welcomed over the years.

Never take your kids to this place. The fowl language expelled from one individual’s mouth while I was there with my children was absolutely intolerable. I never felt so embarrassed for them to hear what was spoken. The waitress apparently told the manager but the person was never spoken to about it, and thus the fowl language kept spewing out over and over again. It was 7:00pm at night. I payed for my food and asked for it to go. I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. I feel that most of the other guests eating there felt similarly just as embarrassed hearing this man’s repeated use of the F word. I will tell as many people as I can my negative experience and opinion of this place. I hope the place folds in short order. Clearly the management there has no idea how to take control of their atmosphere at this restaurant and I am forewarning anyone to pass on going here for food so that they don’t endure the same embarrassment that me and my young family had to go through tonight.

Went in for a spur of the moment dinner out with my wife. The jalapeño poppers, the meatatarian burger, and grilled cheese with potato soup were all delicious. The service was quick and friendly with our server coming to check on us regularly. Bonus points for the adorable Boston terrier that was hanging out at the bar, definitely added to the experience and we'll be coming back ?
Had a plate of nachos for starters, and it was preaty good. For the main course, we had the poutine and the red eye burger. The poutine was filling and delicious, and the red eye burger was quite the burger! Lots of toppings, and it was huge. Definitely a 2 hander! I would surly come back just for the burger! The drinks were good and cold as well!

The bartender/server is miserable. Idk if she is Kim, but whoever she is she doesn’t crack a smile. I asked about the nachos because I have a severe fish allergy and know sometimes nachos are fried and this possibly in the same oil as fish..And they are. And she offered no option, no way to work with me The worst thing- her dog. Sitting on the bar, in her dog bed!!! Seriously?! Mrs wigglebottoms… is that not against health codes?!?! We left after a couple hours. We had a bill Of 300 and still have a decent tip. And we were the biggest spenders of the night because I saw the till while standing at bar waiting for her to acknowledge me for over 3 minutes when I wanted to pay. We left, went to Rombys across the corner and had the best time. Avoid this place.

Owner made us feel uncomfortable and unwanted, bar food over priced and dry, only one waitress for busy time and got the order wrong...twice! If you want to have your evening ruined this is the place for you.
