Great little local spot by all the wineries. The poutine was soooo good! Solid , simple burger too. But hands down would run back for the poutine.

I went for poutine yesterday; the young man that put the cheese curds on the gravy used his bare fingers and was spreading everything without a serving spoon or rubber gloves. I don’t want people’s fingers all in my food. When I ordered it was run by teenagers and the one that took my order whispered to her friend something and they both looked at me and laughed. So off putting and ridiculous child behaviour at a work place. Food was good but they have no reason to use bare hands should have rubber gloves. The chicken on the poutine was super salty, If tasted as though it was submerged in brine for a week or so.

Ordered to make my boyfriend try poutine for the first time, it’s amazing. He ordered a burger and said it’s the best he has had for a very long time. And he loves his burgers, definitely recommend MJ’s, always amazing to eat here.

Best fries in St.Catharines. you are allowed inside to order and can sit to eat. Still open even with the bridge up for maintenance.Parking: Look both ways when leaving the parking lot as people drive fast on Lakeshore road

Fast friendly service. Their sweet potato fries are always great to share. Winter hours 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Big benches inside for sharing.
This place was packed for lunch..a cute neighborhood place...we enjoyed what we ordered a little messy but warm and good.

Very disappointed after reading the reviews. The two cheeseburgers were over done, tasteless and the cheese slice was thrown on cold not even melted and the bun was chilled as well. The burgers were ready within one minute so probably already cooked and heated up. The french fries were a dirty color and looked like old potatoes were used. The picnic bench was sticky from probably over cleaning with cleaner that has stripped the table of its finish and thus you jacket or sleeves were sticking to the table. The only positive is the server was friendly.

I have been here several times and it’s always been the same experience. The burger patty is small, dry and doesn’t taste like anything; It’s not a terrible burger, but its definitely not a good burger. And for 9 dollars after tax (without a drink or fries), I don’t see an incentive to get another one. The tables are really old and coated with a cheap and sticky paint that is uncomfortable and definitely not food safe. Besides that, the atmosphere is nice, and the sides and deserts are good as well.Kid-friendliness: The paint used on the tables do not look food safe. If the paint gets into the food somehow, it is bad for your health. Besides that, the deep-fried mars bar and oreos is probably every kids dream come true.
