Our group of 5 trued Phyls for the first time this past weekend (Sunday) and loved it! We had to wait a few minutes for a table, and well worth it. Service was excellent as was the food. Happened upon Phil's on Sunday and I'm so glad I did. Got there around 1230 and almost every table was taken, almost! Lucky we were able to get seated. The young lady running the floor was on it. We had our menus and coffee in just a few minutes. I judge a breakfast place by the coffee they serve, this place serves a great cup of coffee. This spot seems to resemble a throwback. I wish they would lean into that a bit more. Service was ok. Luckily the other waitress saved the day on that one. As a marketer, I see all kinds of opportunities. But! The food was amazing. I have been back 3 times. It is quality, healthy food prepared very well.
