Easily the Best desert spot in the city cannot get enough of it all of their meals are unreal too. If you have a sweet tooth and haven't been here than you don't know what you are missing! for real!

EXTREMELY overpriced. I ordered the Japanese popcorn chicken and while it appeared very tasty, it was FULL of gristly chicken bits. I had to spit most of it out because I couldn't chew it. The takoyaki was dense, goopy, and generally unappealing. Both dishes were unreasonably priced for what was served. The bubble tea was great and I imagine the desserts are too, but I won't be trying them after what happened. Save your money, go somewhere else for a meal.

Would give 0 stars if possible.Food was bland, stale and lukewarm. The rice/rice noodle should have been hot and fluffy as I ordered minutes after they opened, but came soft and mushy along with a yellow tint — a clear indicator of microwaved old rice. The supposedly hot dessert came stuck together with the fillings being dry and hard as it wasn't microwaved long enough.Overall food quality is disgusting.

We been to a couple of sugar marmalade place and mostly end up with a full fill of their delicious food and desert. This is our first time here at the location and we never see anything like this before. Was clearly the desert didn’t prepare it properly. It still hard and still stuck together in a huge chunk, it seem it didn’t cook long enough. We are very disappointed here of the effort and the quality of the product. And will never return again.

Place is quite small and doesn’t offer much seating. The food is mediocre and does not feel fresh. Majority of the dishes look and taste microwaved. However, the desserts served are very delicious and come in large portions. Prices of each item are fair and reasonable. Probably will come back for the desserts only. I suggest the shaved ice cream dishes.

What a great experience! Between the food (had the Cheesy Black Pepper Chicken Cutlet on Rice), the "Sweet Lady" (Watermelon + Mango Juice) and the Chocolate Egg Waffle for desert, I'm completely stuffed. Great staff, awesome music, and killer food. If you're looking for something new and delicious, check it out! Huge menu, lots of options, even if you just want to grab a snack or a drink.

OMG!!!incredible Amazing! I order “The Eel Toast”. The toast is crispy edge with soft and warm inside. The Eel is JUICY!!!

Visited this location for the first time, it’s very low-key and quaint. They have really cute and artsy decorations inside, and it wasn’t busy at all! The server was very sweet and we received our food pretty fast. The portion sizes are great for the price you pay, we only ordered one entree and dessert and left full!

Looks like they just started. The fruit ice cream and the unagi toast are superb! The noodles are just ok, a little bit soggy to me. Price is reasonable. Overall, worth a visit here.ps: The unagi toast will take longer, but worth waiting.

A new Sugar Marmalade in St. Catharines which serves typical Hong Kong style food and desserts. Nothing really different than other Sugar Marmalade locations. Pictured are kimchi fries and braised beef in soysauce with rice. If you like Asian cuisine then you should visit.Edit: Changing my rating from 5 to 2 stars due to my most recent visit. Upon walking in, it smelled like they hadn't cleaned their bathroom in a while and the smell was leaking into the dining area which ruins your appetite. Furthermore, their credit card machine is "broken" so you can only pay by cash or e-transfer.

I had a great experience at this Sugar Marmalade. All of the food ordered was delicious and the serving sizes were perfect. The wait staff was very kind and accommodating as well.
