I took my British grandmother here for her 89th birthday and we had a lovely experience! The service was top notch, the food was amazing, and it was such a cute atmosphere. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fun themed lunch for a bridal shower or birthday.

Beautiful gem in St Catharines. The afternoon tea was excellent, great quality organic tea. The tea sandwiches, savoury and sweet treats were fantastic. The service is impeccable. Loved the tea room. We will definitely come back.

Wonderful experience at the Savoy Room with Augustino, he was very attentive, warm and welcoming. The food prepared by his family was delicious and exceeded expectations. The tea selection was great, a variety of non-caffeinated versions of regularly caffeinated teas (Non-caffeinated English Breakfast and earl grey). Will definitely be returning in the future whenever we’re in the area! I appreciated the reminder to bring our own takeout containers (although I still forgot them, will try to remember for next time).

Absolutely love this tea room! It was as authentic as stepping into the 1800s and having tea with Queen Victoria. The ambiance includes fine china teacups and saucers, along with three-tiered dishes, classical music, and cloth napkins. The tables and chairs were comfortable, along with a display of various tea ornaments, which included some for sale as well.The food was absolutely wonderful; everything was homemade, which included an abundance of cookies, two different types of scones, and large tea sandwiches on different types of bread (e.g. salmon on a croissant, cucumber and cream cheese on raisin bread, etc.). The food was fresh and well-prepared!Service was top-notch; we were given the utmost attention during our stay, even conversing with our waiter about the various events that the tea room had hosted over the years. Was impressed with how knowledgeable about tea our server was, and passionate as well.Will definitely recommend this tea room to anyone looking for an authentic and delicious tasting experience!

Highly recommend. Good variety of tea sandwiches and even savoury mini quiches. They accommodated a vegetarian selection. Especially enjoyed the raisinbread cucumber sandwich and the egg salad was very tasty. The scones (two kinds) were perfect - especially the lemon - and served with delicious preserves and clotted cream. Our waiter (the proprietor) was attentive, kind, and personable. We were there on Dec. 2 and the room was beautifully decorated for Christmas-- like stepping back in time.

Beautiful Victorian decor, absolutely fabulous selection of finger sandwiches, scones with preserves and clotted cream, huge variety of wee desserts and endless pots of tea!!Oh yes, not to mention excellent and friendly service. Just a little bit of luxurious pampering.
