I tried Terry's recipe for mulled wine and it was delicious! I added a bit more sugar as it was a tad tart for me (great if you don't like it too sweet, though). It's definitely my go-to from now on. Can't wait to try it in person! He knows his drinks.

This little place is amazing and is well worth the visit. We poked our head in for a quick, unassuming visit and stayed for over an hour. The owner is interesting, charismatic and informative. Try the Moondance and the Sangria. Get some ideas for mixed drink too.We bought some great pickled beans, horseradish and some smoked apple mustard. All are amazing. We also bought some Moondance.Highly recommended.

I've been there 3 times and it has become as an attraction in st Jacobs town.Definately it's one of our stops when we go there. The owner is a nice and welcoming person, knowable about the products. Even we went there last year, he remembered me as the mexican family.Menu is small but well selected.I wish there are more tables to sit.The Tasting House is a must to visit in St. Jacobs.

Cute shop. Lots of products overlapping though. Was a little disappointed that we couldn't sample the hot sauces, was given some weird excuse that "Public Health won't allow", though there use to be a hotsauce shop around the corner (that wasn't open that long holiday weekend we visited) that offered sampling of hot sauces. The Tasting House name is somewhat confusing now to my partner and I, I guess it's just for alcohol drinks :(

Excellent place to stop by while walking around St. Jacobs. The Panini and soup combo combined with the great conversation with the owner made this a place I will be happy to visit again.

We drove from Ancaster to attend theWeft Fest! We tried some delicious mulled wine and I ordered a roasted tomato, garlic and red pepper soup! All I can say is wow, it is by far the most tastiest soup I ever had! It has so much flavour and a nice texture. I ended up buying a jar to take home. Will definitely be back!Hilda

We had visitors from Scotland at St Jacob's, yesterday, one of the ladies dropped her wallet while crossing the street close, to The Tasting House. A few minutes later, Terry the owner, spotted the wallet, closed his shop and caught up with us, in another store, to return the wallet. He had heard our accent, saw a UK driver's license in the wallet and guessed correctly who's it was. it's good to know there are still honest people around, so thank you Terry as the holiday would have been spoilt with loss of wallet, charge cards, license etc. Oh! we then visited the shop and sampled some of the unique and excellent products.
