“Kim the bartender that works almost every night is amazing. She works the bar side only for the most part and I’ve never waited more than five minutes for a refill. She know my friend and I pretty well and has are drinks ready to go as we sit down. She goes above and beyond in every aspect of customer service and I think she definitely deserves a raise! Food is good for the price point especially after 9 pm when it is half price apps!“
“As a Vegan I was really excited for the vegan options offered on the website, well priced but had to find it online couldnt see anything on the inperson menu for vegan.The chick'n was not very good, looked like the real thing but just not good taste. They tried and I appreciated that. But I would not recommend that part. Mine was the Vegan Primavera, I will say everything else was delicious, the pasta and sauce fantastic and veggies, wow. Better without the fake chicken. ?The server was a bit short with me I felt, but she had 20 of use by herself and one of the cooks was taken by abulance during our meal so obviously she had a lot going on.Would I got back? “Good food, fair prices. The staff was friendly.I would come back. It's a good place whether you have kids or not. It's not overly family friendly where adults feel out of place, but we were more than comfortable bringing our kids in.“
“A large group from a hockey team showed up with little notice for lunch. They accommodated to sit down in about 15 min. Our server was very efficient. And we got our meals and bills paid within an hour so we could get to our next game. It's has great atmosphere right on the beach, it is $4/hour to park there. I had a Mango mojito, I would say there was too much club soda in it. I also had chicken and waffles, which was very sweet, I think it could benefit from something spicey to balance it out better. It was well portioned and reasonably priced.“

After 20+ of living in Montréal, Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and UK, amazing to come back to the Wayside (which I grew up going to) and having world-class Indian food right here in St. Thomas / Talbotville!“
“I went into Ollie's because I heard that a very good friend of mine who i hadn't seen in many many years was a regular customer there. I tried talking to the 2 barmaids who were working that Sunday Feb 11th and explaining the situation but they weren't very nice or accommodating. They were actually rather rude so my cousin and I had one beer and left.Wheelchair accessibility: I was with my cousin who is in a wheelchair. We had no problems moving about inside the bar or the ladies room“
