Wow- and I don't mean that in a good way. We had been to this restaurant pre COVID and everything was great-food service etc. Ordered a med 1topping pizza sign says please add 15% to menu prices. Total with tax should have been $20.46 I said I would pay cash, owner opened the cash (without ringing up the sale) and said that will be $22.00 no receipt with tax was provided..hmmm. Asked for plates and cutlery, (which had been provided outdoors the last time) was given two minute styrofoam plates and tiny useless plastic utensils. When we asked for actual utensils we were told no- plastic only because I gave you the takeout price?? There is literally only one menu and was charged more anyway. Went back to speak to the owner and explained that our previous experience had been so much better. Owner became immediately combative now telling me no utensils were allowed on the patio as per City of Ottawa because of some previous altercation involving cutlery outside huh? Then he told me utensils were for indoor dining only so I asked why he didn't just say that in the first place. Needless to say he just kept talking over myself and my husband. I have never, as a customer been treated so badly, I think the owner is burnt out and needs to call it a day. Wish I had read the reviews first. All in all a terrible experience and on my husband's b-day to boot!!

Worst wings I've ever gotten.Dry ,half of the wings didn't even have meat on them. Tried calling them to tell them how awful they were but no one answered (called 3 seperate times )

We love taking the family there for milkshakes and ice cream. The owners are always gentle with customers.I would highly recommend to pay with cash so this local business doesn't get a profit cut from using the machine for credit cards

My teen daughter went there with her two friends and treated them to some food and pops. Sadly it was a terrible experience and my daughter was so upset. She spent $35 for chicken fingers and fries (she and her friends agreed) that they were awful! She couldn’t even eat it and threw it away. The poutine she ordered for her friends was better however the pops they received tasted like it had been there for a decade. To top it off the pamphlet the restaurant had wasn’t even up to date with pricing. I did call the shoe but the person who answered was very rude and defensive so I see why a young person would feel intimidated to say anything about the issues they had with their order. Terrible all around! You need to do better.

I used to love this place so much. They would make the best greek salad with chicken. I ordered the greek salad the other day but it didn't show any option to add chicken . The cost of the salad was 19.00 so I assumed they put chicken on it for that price. I had it delivered and opened the salad and there was like 4 to 5 super super tiny pieces of chicken on it. I called and the owner answered and was rude and brushed me off. He tried to say that it's skip the dishes fault that there is no option for adding chicken to the salad. I even checked Papa Sam's website and it doesn't show an option to add chicken to a salad. So how is this Skip the dishes issue???? I can't believe they are charging 19 dollars for a greek salad and that doesn't include chicken . What a rip off..... I will never order from Papa Sam's again.....

I used to love this place. Service with a smile and great pizza. Popped in today for ice cream. $16 for two cones with two scoops. No thanks - highway robbery and insulting for a local businessman to gouge the community this way.
We happened to stop in on a rainy Saturday afternoon, and we are so lucky we did! Sam was so friendly and welcoming, we can’t wait to go back and visit him again.The pizza was FANTASTIC, perfectly cooked with generous, quality ingredients. His homemade garlic sauce is dangerously good. Thanks for making our day Sam!

I ordered vegetarian pizzas from the Stittsville location. We are vegetarian due to religious reasons. When we got our pizza home and started eating them, we found a piece of meat in one of them. When we called to tell the owner and explained how upsetting this was, he said sorry, just take it out and quickly got off the phone. What is more upsetting than having the meat in our pizza, was the rudeness of the owner. He did not offer to fix the mistake, offer to make a new pizza or refund our money. We literally threw the remainder of the food in the garbage. In today's world of allergies and dietary restrictions, this is completely unacceptable especially in the restaurant industry.Zero stars!!!!Vegetarian options: They offer vegetarian options but there is no guarantee that when you order vegetarian that it will be vegetarian. We found meat in our vegetarian pizza

Placed an order for a small pizza and chicken wings via UberEats. After the order was placed and accepted, the restaurant put an additional $4.00 on top of the cost AFTER. This was on top of the food, tips (18% because I wanted to support local), service fees and delivery fees. Tried to cancel the order but was charged for the food as per UE. UberEats didn't help either. I don't care as much for the $4 add-on except for the fact that it felt like a blindside. I've always recommended Papa Sam's because I like supporting local and their pizza was good. But after that, not anymore. Just be aware of the added cost.

Finally stopped by Papa Sam's after driving by a million times. It feels like going back in time to when things were simple, people were friendly, and service was personal. Sam did not disappoint and the pizzas were great. My son even commented how friendly he was, something we're not accustomed to anymore, sadly. I told him that's how it should be...
