“OMG Dave and Amelia are the best mixologist duo. Hubby and I came across Two Birds on google and were impressed with the reviews and photos. Our first visit was nothing short of amazing filled with luxurious and herbaceous cocktails. The atmosphere and vibes in Two Birds was very refreshing. Mature crowd, great music, tasty drinks. We will definitely be coming back as regulars to this establishment. Cheers and Happy Holidays!Tasha & Chad“

“Food was phenomenal, drinks were great, service was even better! You can tell their ingredients are fresh and their dough is homemade. We were too busy enjoying the food to remember to take photos so this is all we got. Will definitely come back again!“
“Great place if your into enjoying a good atmosphere and great food at exceptional well low prices . When they have a band it's like it's 2 bars in one as you can still enjoy your normal pub with very little notice other than more people unless you enter the stage part of the bar. Highly recommend this place“
“The New York Strip special on Tuesday is fabulous and a great value! Delroy is working the grill and makes your steak to order. Although I am likely in the minority, I love my steak blue rare and Delroy doesn't disappoint. Overall, the bar has a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere and a wonderful group of people who regularly come to hang out.“
“Detroit Blues Cafe is not just a bar- it's an experience! The best lounge in Detroit. Grown folk Thursday's is my night, have to get there early if you want a seat.To walk into a bar and get instantly greeted with a smile and a cocktail that breathes sophistication is a moment that should be savored.I highly recommend this business. The vibe, the atmosphere, the amazing music, excellent food, the ballroom dancing, and the well-dressed men are some of the highlights. The service is at an exceptional level of professionalism from the wait staff, and cooks, to the security team, consistently. The manager, Amber, is my no-nonsense girl, I just love her!The ambience here is always inviting and comfortable. It's always a treat!“
“I recently returned to the Hook & Ladder after a long absence, and I was not disappointed. Our large group of friends decided to meet here for dinner and drinks before going to see a live play further up Seminole Street at the Kordazone Theatre. I made some new friends and invited them to join our group. The staff didn’t mind at all when I added two more tables to our grouping to accommodate everyone. My order of pulled pork sliders and fries was delicious and very filling. The coleslaw on the side of my plate was creamy, which was an interesting twist on the usual coleslaw that you get at restaurants. Beers are priced reasonably.“
“Was in the area for a service and a large group of us headed over here after. Played a few games of pool and enjoyed a few mix drinks, bottled beer and draft. All were really good. Service was quick. atmosphere was nice. Seemed more like a local fun hangout then a ritzy place. And I mean that in a great way. We all felt welcome even with a larger group.“
“The crowd is nice on Thursday- Sundays , security plenty of parking and nice birthday party events. The drinks are reasonable and the waitresses be on their job. Like a cheers atmosphere you wanna go where everyone knows your name. Ms Krystal is sweet and loving and people be dressed to impress there. TV's seating 💺 ♥️ people call it a "hole in the wall" but those same people be in attendance "lol They come from all over the city to this place you must get there early on Sunday nights cause DJ Tony Rome be on hot blazing 🔥 fire. Dance, entertainment etc. Everytime my out of town guest / sweetheart comes to visit Detroit she has to come there before she leaves its a must.“
“Solid place! The food was incredible and the service was above and beyond! The beer and food were top quality and delicious. Charlie, the manager, was welcoming, informative about the beer, food, and his hometown of Detroit! This is a MUST VISIT DESTINATION!!“
“My father, Eddie Mesrey (born in Detroit | 1932–1980), grew up in the house that was once attached to Zell’s. He and his brother, George Mesrey (1930–1978), helped their uncle Michael Mesrey (born in Damascus, Syria | 1899–1993) run the little market that previously occupied this space (circa 1930s – 1960s).Back in the day it was known as Little Mike’s Market. Here’s my great-Uncle Mike and an unidentified E&B spokesmodel inside the market at Charlevoix and Seyburn, circa 1960.“
“Great historic neighbourhood bar with a tucked away patio and lots of divey charm. Great place for a sunny afternoon pint, dinner, or a night out. They have regular karaoke and live music, and you are bound to have a good time no matter what your scene. It's a local favourite!“
“We absolutely love this place. Probably the best priced, best atmosphere, best people in the park. They have darts and as of late, pinball. Outdoor patio for dogs that is heated in wintertime. And the bartenders are always the kindest. A must see!“
“I attended a wine tasting event here which was very intimate and classy. Beforehand I got a beer and was looking for a light beer. Gave him an example of what I was looking for and his recommendation was right on point. The list of nightly activities looks interesting. I will have to come back here again for a non-event to just hang out. The bartender was attentive and provided great service!“
“Lenny's is a new bar on Mack, not far from Apt Disco. It was a bar previously so long-time residents will remember that. It's a good mix of dive, craft cocktails, and sports bar. They have TVs for the games and a pool table and darts maybe? Probably...I really like the craft cocktail menu that is mostly classics and around $8 to $10. Citadelle gin is their house gin so they are already tops in my book. I've tried the French 75, Daquari, and Airmail, all delicious. You can definitely get easy drinks like a gin and tonic or rum and coke too. Their house rum is Plantation, another good sign. They do have hard seltzers there but I think it's White Claw and not Topo Chico which seems to be the preferred brand in my demographic. And naturally, a variety of local and mainstream beers across all price points.Check their social media to see what games are playing and who is working the bar and if there are any specials running. They've only been open a couple weeks and it's fast becoming my before and after spot. Cheers!“
“Jimmy G and his crew put on an incredible spread for our son and daughter-in-laws wedding. He was accommodating in every way.Everyone raved about the selection and quality of the food."Best Wedding food ever" was a common phrase from our guest. Thank you Jimmy G!“
“I recently purchased some restaurant equipment from Jacobs and I am very satisfied with my experience. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a friendly and helpful staff. They took the time to listen to my needs and helped me find the perfect equipment for my business. The prices were also very reasonable. I highly recommend Jacobs to anyone in need of restaurant equipment. They truly go above and beyond to ensure their customers are happy and well taken care of. Five stars all the way!“
“Our Family owned this bar back in the late 70s- early 80s, I was just a child. Now I own a great historic tavern in Marquette, Mi called Remies. 4th generation in the business, I believe the Candlelight and Remies are very similar, I would love to go back someday. God bless both places, and all the great times they have provided.“
“In house bar and grill at the FIELD HOUSE of DCFC. I am there doing work and to watch my son in his HIGHSCHOOL SCRIMMAGE.... But needless to say SAM, She was the only next to the cook that would help me in my needs while sitting in the bar grill area. Our sport of Soccer already has enough racism and the lack of cultural acceptance. ANYWAY SAM she was great in helping me place a order and to get the things I needed while there at the fieldhouse. The other two ladies seem to have a very stand offish attitude when I asked them any thing regarding WIFI regarding the TV's during my stay. SAM on the other she asked if I needed anything she made sure my daughter and myself was aware of where to pick up our food and check on us while we were there. BUT BEOFER THEN I stood at the bar on both ends and neither of the lady's there asked me if I needed anything or if I want to place a order. These were to the ladies of Height and stature with glasses.I would have tipped but I saw that they share the tip jars and did not want the other two getting any tip due to their standoff personality and lack of service. SAM I will be bringing a personal card next time to place in your hand.“
“I love Kelsey’s so much I couldn’t imagine my life without it. I literally got married in this Kelsey’s to my beautiful wife, Sack boy from little big planet. The food was divine. So divine in fact that Budda himself came down from the heavens to caress my head while I sunk my jowels into that sloppy burg. What a wonderful experience“
