Walked into an empty restaurant and was told there was an hour wait. No apologies and no solutions offered. Lots of other options for food elsewhere without the attitude.

A very good Chinese food restaurant with lots of great dishes. Good to have a culturally accurate dinner (by sharing all the dishes) while also having some that you can keep to yourself. Food quality is amazing!! Staff are really nice as well. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.

Good for Shanghai style dim sum. Hot and sour soup is a must and so are the soup filled pork dumplings.

Asian Legend never fails to impress with its delicious offerings. The Kung Pao Chicken is a personal favorite, and the dumplings are consistently delightful. However, I've observed a decrease in portion sizes lately, which is a bit disappointing. Additionally, the service could use a touch more attentiveness. Despite these concerns, the tasty dishes still make Asian Legend a go-to spot for satisfying Asian cuisine.

The food was not disappointing but not great. It is an average place for lunch and dinner. The size of the restaurant is small. There are approximately 5 small tables for two people. They can be easily be converted to tables for four though. It would be a long wait for small groups if those spots are filled.

Food was good overall but service lacked a little and the service only one guy was actually nice the woman were not
So I've been to asian legend many times at several of their locations. This one at Commerce Gate has been around for a long time but this time I went back in Sept, I noticed that the size of the room got reduced in half. Not sure if just business isn't doing well but was really surprised since it's fairly small in there now. I got the usual assortments of foods like dumplings, pork soup dumplings, peking duck. It's all pretty decent and that's why I keep coming back. I haven't found another place in GTA the does the pork soup dumplings as good as AL. The peking duck was super crispy, not dry, and the wrappers were moist as well. Definitely would come back.

They have some very nice northern dishes. I like their soy milk soup and their dumplings. There are many other dishes that they do very well.Vegetarian options: There are enough to choose from

The duck was great! The bread that came with the duck was so so, a bit on the thicker side. The sauce was very sweet, we had to substitute the sauce with soya sauce.Overall very tasty! The lettuce wrap was also great. The duck plus lettuce wrap plus a fried rice, was enough for 4 people. The duck was 80$ and the lettuce wrap was 14$, very reasonable. We'll visit again!Parking: Right in front of the restaurant in a plaza

Extremely spicy food was served even though moderate spicy was told at the time of order.Waitress who served extorted tips and asked me to pay a tip even after my credit card payment of the bill was done. She was extremely rude and even scorned at me for not tipping. I was appalled at this. To save face, I obliged to tip. Beware of such waitresses. Terrible behavior!!My friend's order who came with me to dine was brought in 15 minutes after mine was served. The ambience of this place looked good in the photos and it was good when we visited. But the service and food is pathetic. This was my first visit to this place and will probably be my last.Vegetarian options: They have an eggplant-based curry side to go with white rice. But, please make sure to order at a spice level one below your regular palette. My order was extra spicy although I ordered medium.
