First time dinning at stone fire and it wiil be the last. Resturant was not busy Sunday nite.... but service was terrible and had to wait for half hour to order. Ordered a pizza expecting for it to be served hot but the toppings were cold. Wished our waitress told us that especially when she was shocked aboit our comments we did not know after telling her it was our first time at the restaurant.Theres other great places in North York to dine at that is better.A disappointing experience overall.

Went to Stonefire to sit at the bar for dinner. Service was prompt, my server Anna was amazing. The main chef even came out to say hello and check on me while I was having my meal to make sure I was happy with everything. 10/10 would recommend!!!

Went there on Christmas eve for dinner. 6 adults and 6 kids. Service started of badly when we ordered a bottle of wine and asked her to pour glasses for all the adults. She emptied the bottle on 5 glasses and looked lost when we bought it up to her. This forced us to get a second bottle right away. Sure, we could treat this like a Pizza hut and pour some from each of the 5 glasses to make a 6th. Glasses was never refilled nor plates were ever cleared. It is also very unprofessional to smell cigarettes from the server. She was in no way rude but overall, service was slow and lacking. We were also the only table that she was serving so no excuse except for maybe more training. Could also be the fact that 18% gratitude was already included.Now, to the food, just do yourself a favor and stay away from the steaks. New yorks were thin and over cooked. Filet was like eating a shoe. Medium rare all turned out medium to medium well at best. I confronted her about one of the steaks and asked her to check with the chef. She bought it back and said chef confirmed that it was indeed medium rare and would I like a rare steak. I just took it back and finished it instead of making a fuss "holiday spirit". Most restaurants would either cancel it or cooked it to your liking without bringing it back out to the customer. Why even ask " How's everything "?. The cut of beef was decent, just thin and over cooked. Rack of lamb was decent, skimpy but atleast 2 of the 3 small racks were cooked right. Veal was ok. Kids love the fried calamari, nothing special but kids loves anything fried. Pastas were ok but nothing you can't make better at home. Bill came to about $1000 and the only thing I couldn't make better at home was the $14 Belgium waffle. I guess one thing is better than none. Just stick with pasta and pizza is my advice. Really wanted to like the restaurant as I passed by it daily. Unfortunately, we won't be going back

No one came to refill our glasses of water or came to ask about coffee or tea or how our meals were. The Chicken burger was overcooked and dry. The salmon was delicious but the quinoa was too moist and tasteless. Broccoli was good. The greek salad was good. Bread was fresh but so hard it was hard to bite into. Once we called someone over to give us more water, we did get better service but still no sign of our server!! I will not be going back!

been here before with a group of 15 10 months ago, no issue. just left dinner with a group of 6 and absolutely SHIT!! ordered an italian pizza and it was delivered AFTER my group had finished eating their meal. it was brought to my servers attention numerous times during our meal and I believe she forgot to enter my order at the time she entered the rest. my loss !! the other servers never came by to refill the drinks or clear our table from our appetizer plates. unfortunately for our server it was her apparent 2nd shift which she admitted after the fact. the manager comped a few items but damage was done. won't be back. shitty experience for dinner with friends

I love this place! Have been coming here for several years and never a disappointment. Great atmosphere cosy yet classy. Welcoming staff always very attentive and kind. The food is delicious so far haven't tried a single dish i have not enjoyed, you cant go wrong! Highly recommend this place whether it is for an occasion for a large group or a simple dinner with your family.
