I wish I could say it was better. The wings were the best part but most wings come from a freezer and get deep fried. I had the California salad, this was always my favorite but the chicken on it was horrible I took one of the same end pieces and couldn't eat the rest. Had my partner try it and he was grossed out (way too much salt and lemon seasoning). The lettuce was just saturated in dressing, it made the lettuce soggy almost like it was pre-made. Located in the Victoria Inn on Arthur Street in Thunder Bay, Chicago Joes offer good Canadian fare in quality food and service. A quick visit with a friend for Chicken Caesar Salad and Salt & Pepper Wings with a Northern Heat sauce proved to be a delectable choice. The atmosphere is pubbish/sports bar with tables and/or booths, and televisions to view. The service was attentive, professional and also neighborly friendly with personality.
