We are the type to phone restaurants and let them know how delishish the food was.And I am a fair reviewer.The food last night was horrible.Wontons tasted off and dry(maybe oil?), rice was between dry and stale(un eatable), the ribs were little bits that were actually sauce with bones practicality. The shrimp with egg and bacon tasted weird and tails were left on. The noodle dish tasted burnt. I mean come on $84 bucks for 2 people and you cant even eat it. Worst food we have ever had in Thunderbay.I should have listened to the bad reviews this time.

Great place for lunch. Fast and friendly service. The food was excellent.
We went to Chinese Express for dinner and did not care for the food at all. We had the dinner for two and found that the rice tasted burnt, chicken balls were tough with a lot of batter on them, and the beef and greens that we had as a substitution had some very tough beef in it. Service however was very good. We do not believe we will return as there are more Chinese restaurants to choose from in the future.

Very good service and food. Only drawback is the seats ( benches) are mot very comfortable. We didn't sit and chat after the meal. Also, one of my favourite meals is Singapore noodles however, you cannot order a single serving. Only a meal for 2. Strange.

I was unimpressed with the quality and flavors of the food I purchased. Beef dishes were watery and tasteless. Rice was soggy. Vegetable dishes were bland. Chicken balls were hard and tough meat. The service was pleasant. The atmosphere is homey. 3 out of 5 is generous.
Ordered chicken balls, sweat and sour shrimp, 2 egg rolls and their “special ribs” $83.70 tax inc the chicken balls were ok the shrimp was ok maybe a little overcooked the sauce was watery and the egg rolls were greasy.and the ribs went in the garbage I’m from out of town I wouldn’t order from them again if I was in the area… at bed at 35.00 order

(I rarely write bad reviews but I had to share for those ordering delivery).Sorry I tried to like it, but worst chinese food and most expensive I have ordered.Temperature was good and the service was fast as I was told it was busy. The egg rolls and chicken balls were ok but the garlic ribs were tiny bits with a lot of hard pieces. Chicken fried rice tasteless. Wonton soup had it's own taste, not the regular taste of a wonton soup. Ate the stock of the soup but threw the rest in the garbage including the ribs, and rest of rice. TOO BAD to throw it out since the trio plate at 17.95$, 2 egg rolls (7$), and a soup (7.75$), added up to 45,80$. Hard to understand the bill but had like 10$+ of extra fees. With the tip it added up to 53.80$ for a plate, soup and 2 egg rolls. I understand that taste can be subjective, but all the added fees should have been told and explained to the customer.
