“This is a great place to buy organic whole coffee beans. The coffee is truly amazing, however, I wish they would provide just a little more information on the bags beyond "organic espresso" or "organic decaf" baristas were very helpful in helping me choose my grind size.“
“I've been coming here for a very long time and they are nothing but polite courteous great coffee Quick Service they make amazing lattes and they love my service dogs. They never gave me any problems about the breed. Cuz a lot of people are judgmental when they see a European Doberman. Or and an American Pitbull Terrier. People tend to get nervous when they see my dogs in an establishment but they are usually fully vested so you can see they're working dogs and when I don't have them vested it's because I've been going to an establishment for so long that everybody knows me and really I don't have to have my dog's vested it's actually for other people but. Nonetheless they never were judgmental they've always been super polite super courteous great service I love the place I wish it was open on the weekends LOL“

“Went for a romantic dinner on Valentine's and were not disappointed. We ordered from the special menu and I must say appetizer to dessert was delicious. My duck was tasty and moist while the wife gave a thumbs up to the Atlantic Salmon. Service was exemplary and the jazz trio Mood Indigo enhanced the atmosphere without being too loud and overpowering.“

“Can every city do this please? I can’t stop thinking about how incredible this entire concept is. A volunteer run, community driven coffee shop focused on giving back — and with out-of-this-world coffee and baked goods, all housed in a beautiful church. I love the mission and how this has been brought to life. I came in for coffee, but left wanting to know so much more about the Urban Abbey and the community served (their website is full of info).But let’s get to the experience: I went two days in a row while visiting Thunder Bag. Both days I was greeted by genuinely kind and friendly staff. They made incredible drinks, had great suggestions for my 14 year old son, and we somehow arrived right as fresh baked goods were coming out of the oven. So good. I drink my coffee black and avoid fruity undertones. Their medium roast coffee was smooth and perfect.The space feels welcoming, cozy, and has beautiful artwork and stained glass windows. I love the pews as benches and the tables that mimic the shape of the windows. I appreciate the mix of new/modern with treasured/lived in. It’s perfection.I can’t wait to go back.“
