I must update my review in response to all the 1 stars. This is a Pakistani restaurant run by a Pakistani family. It’s not Indian food and that is what all the bad reviews fail to see. If it’s not exactly how they’re used to, they gotta leave a 1 star because the food is not exactly like back home. The flavours are gonna be different. Their samosas don’t taste like Indian ones the filling and doughs are very different. Their naan is very fluffy, not traditional Indian naan or roti. Their lassi is sweet, Pakistani style. Not the yogurty less sweet Indian style. Their biryani is nothing like Indian biryani, so I could understand the disappointment there if that’s what you were expecting. Yes prices are a little high but so are ingredients. So are the take out containers they need to buy, so is their rent! The owners need to make a living and they’ve been around now for over 6 years so I’m glad they’re doing well. I’m also shocked at all the comments saying how rude the owner is. I cannot imagine him behaving that way unless you were rude first. He’s the sweetest, nicest man. Yes drivers wait outside. Everyone waits outside! It’s take out only, it’s been this way for 4 years. Though I do remember the vibrant orange walls and the mouthwatering aromas as you walked in back in the day. Give this place a try if you haven’t already. It’s good. Order what you want but the samosas and mango lassi are a must.
Solid meh. Naan was probably the most disappointing part. Seems like it's from a box. The basmati rice with egg was good though. Curry was a bit too sweet for my liking.

I ordered Shawarma, Chicken Biriyani, Garlic Naan and Jalebi. Everything was flop. Even I got Gulab Jamun instead of Jalebi, when I asked they said you can give back the Gulab Jamun but no refund. He said he can adjust the price when I order next time. Customer service is worst at the peak. I don't recommend this to anyone.

The food was incredible, so flavourful and a good portion. There’s no waiting room so unfortunately I had to wait outside in the cold which I found odd. The gentleman was kind tho and the food made up for the lack and of atmosphere. This will definitely be in the takeout roster from now on.Vegetarian options: I got a chickpea dish and it was delicious.
OH MAN! Do you ever wonder whats missing in your life ? Do you ever think" Hey I need some happiness" ? Then look no futher that famous tandoor! The butter chicken was succulent and moist and whatever my girlfriend got looked pretty good, It was something with vegetable so i dont even know. Try this place out it was very good and affordable. Atmosphere I give was a one because you have to wait outside and a homeless man asked me for money!

A hidden gem for biryani. Really loved the authentic taste and would order again.
The take out process was smooth, but the samosa were so puffy mostly air and the filling was quite bland. I think I’ll have to try this place another time way down in the future when they maybe change up their recipes.

I came from BC for a business trip to Thunderbay. I've tried everywhere to get delicious food, never got it. Got lamb and rice in Tandoor that was insanely delicious almost 1 year in Canada never had such a good food, feels like Mama cooked..Thank you Tandoor ? ❤️❤️❤️

Amazing food, been in Thunder Bay for almost a month and I just found out about this restaurant! I got the tandoor platter and it’s been a long time since I had such flavours, tender and juicy chicken and beef! It’s not dry like other restaurants! The owner is a very friendly person as well! Forgot to take a picture as I couldn’t stop eating ?.Thank you for the blessed food!
