“My partner and I went for a dinner date here and it was wonderful! The staff were super kind to us and the food was delicious as always! The thing that stood out most that night was the waiter noticing us rolling our chop stick papers into little stands for our chopstick so she brought us cute ceramic chopstick rests and at the end of the night they told us we could keep them and wished us a merry Christmas! Extremely friendly staff! Was a great experience.“
“This was our second visit to Wasabi's, this time for my partner's birthday. Due to it being a Friday, I was thinking I might need to call and check to see if I would need a reservation...turns out that I did! I also asked if we could get a quieter table if possible, and the man who took my reservation said that they couldn't promise anything, but that they would try to accommodate us as best as they could.When we got there, it was certainly far busier than the first time we had eaten there, and I was quietly grateful I had made a reservation. When we were seated, I was further surprised to find that not only were we given a quiet table, but that we were given a table that was enclosed! I said to my partner, "They're getting ALL the tips."We ordered a dish of harumaki to share, my partner ordered a bowl of wonton soup, and an order of beef yaki udon. I ordered a spider roll, a Mt. Fuji roll, and an order of hachimitsu chicken. All of it, as usual, was fantastic!Top to bottom, we had a terrific time, and we'll definitely be back. Wasabi's is one of the hidden jewels of Thunder Bay, and I can't say enough good things.“
“Ordered a few rolls for pick up and really liked what I got.. for the price I couldn't believe the quality! Good chance my next few sushi orders will be placed here. Could become my preferred place to order sushi in town! can't wait to get hungry again so I can eat more of my order lol. ??“
