World class gallery receives gov subsidized donations from wealthy families, funding from ON and Canadian governments but only offers part time contracts to their workers while execs line their pockets. SHAME! GIVE THEM FULL-TIME WORK! SHARE BY PAYING A LIVING WAGE!

Shame on you, pay your workers. These people work hard and deserve better than your corporate greed. Fair wages before you increase your own pay 50%. Stephen Jost makes 406k with 300k in "consultation" fees and refuses to help the people he works and speaks with every day.

I had brunch here yesterday with a friend. I would say the price is ok for the quality of food that you get. For appetizer, I tried the Hot smoked Arcadian Sturgeon and it was incredibly delicious. I had to wait for over 5mins to get the Sourdough bread that was supposed to accompany it, the server happened to forget. For mains, I had the AGO burger and it was absolute perfection!

Fritters and cheesecake were outstanding. Quiche and chocolate cake were very good. Salad was delish. Service was excellent. Ambience (on the upper level) was really nice. Overall a great experience.

Really liked the duck thought they did a great job on it. But it's a pricey meal...could use a French onion soup on the menu though....but everything was delicicious. Large portions looking at 100$ for two people. Thanks to great chefs there

We were there for the Foodways Chef Series, nice presentation and exploration of a young chef with the Keith Herring exhibit. Great idea! I hope the Ago will continue to do this!

I am truly saddened that I have to write a not so friendly review of this Bistro situated in one of my favourite galleries. When I stepped inside, I was greeted by a beautiful and kind girl who, in sync with my wishes, found a table in a gallery overlooking the Bistro's windows. When a young, ginger-haired server came, satisfaction dissipated quickly. I asked him to tell me more about the Woolwich Goat Cheese and Herb Quiche from their menu, and he responded, "Well, a Quiche is a Quiche.!" His response rubbed me the wrong way because I am a Croat, and my country is not into Quiche "business." But even if I were a Canadian connoisseur of the Quiche, I still deserve a better response. I did not get up and leave because I didn't want to be brushed in the "emotional" colour like women often are. Instead, I ordered the burger (my least favourite dish) and a beer (Mill St. Organic, 341ml). I first got my beer in a glass (containing certainly less than 341 ml of beer). Ten minutes later, the server brought me my burger in a bun on top of burnt, greasy fries. Ugh.I put aside the top of the bun and discovered burnt bacon topped with cheese on a charred burger, all topped with watercress and lots of mayonnaise. Double ugh.I was hungry, and since my burger was not cheap ($23 before tax), I ate parts of it.I was mid-meal when Mr. Ginger, the server, came and asked, "Are you still eating?" Yet again, I did not respond as I would in my country (not holding back the truth). Instead, I minced a dry yes.It seemed I was too slow for this server—he wanted me gone. I finished my meal with a stomach tied in a knot from humiliation and suppressed anger. Somehow, this experience stained my joy of visiting AGO today. And this is not easy to do since I have been AGO's faithful visitor and member from day one.

The food was lovely albeit a little plain, as a queer person I was really excited to see how this menu coincided with the Keith Haring exhibit, “Art is For Everyone.” Alas, each dish did not seem to relate to this exhibit, it was tasty, and there wasn't nearly enough to eat. There was a lack of wine paired with the food, and I was disappointed to only receive wine after each dish came and went. No major protein was served and the cauliflower was undercooked. I make very little and this event cost me quite a bit of money. If you're looking to attract millennial people to this event please try making a protein and dishes that actually relate to the event.

We dined as part of the AGO's Foodways series - the event was beautiful and Eric MacDonald did a fantastic job celebrating Keith Haring. Front of house staff were excellent - the only issue was timing of dishes and the sometimes 30 minutes between courses otherwise a beautiful exploration of art imitating art.

Another exceptional event combining intriguing art and gourmet food. Experiencing the respective art exhibit prior to seating is a wonderful introduction to the dinner menu. Quality food is always interesting with each guest chef. Wine pairings are spot on but timing needs improvement. At full capacity the noise level can make things hard to hear. Definitely will return.

There is a good variety (though more plant based options would be nice), to choose from, and all was delicious. Our server, Rebecca, was wonderful! Thank you.
