Hands down, the best patties in town ??????????As a downtown resident, this was recommended to me by a friend who grew up in Scarborough who's been a regular since he was a student.Bring cash! and tip them good, they deserve it ❤️Got a mixed frozen dozen (6 curry goats, 6 spicy beef). However, at 1pm, parking outside is limited and they've already ran out of coco buns so will definitely come back earlier, soon!

Best Jamaican patties in Toronto. Tender. Flaky. Perfect amount of filling. Highly recommended!
Flaky, buttery patties. They had goat curry, spicy beef, mild beef and chicken patties. We tried them all and loved the spicy beef the best. Fresh cocobuns and bread. We finished it in the parking lot and went back for more. Super affordable! Family-run business, friendly staff and cute baker in the back. Will definitely visit whenever we’re in the area.

My manager brought these for us at work to celebrate our black history potluck day and when I tell you these are the best patties I’ve ever had these are hands down the best patties ever! 10/10 would definitely come get some when I’m craving some Jamaican patties.

To taste the real patties, u got to visitAllan's bakery. Their sour dough and hard dough bread are also very tasty. Try it, but please dont take all the patties, leave some for me. ☺ Oh and remember to have enough cash on you. Its cash only.

Call in your order ahead of time. I usually like the “hot & ready” beef patties as I buy quite a bit. Went yesterday 01/27/2024 & grabbed 3 dozen of Spicy Beef (really not spicy to me lol) & 3 Dozen of Mild Beef. Was quick, in/out.Store looks the same as it’s always looked. Take-Out style, no seating, and couple of food products on display. Friendly people/staffs. Decent customer service.I prepared myself for the “cost/price” increase - Holy Moly $21/dozen (blame it on inflation?); well - so be it! Just a heads up: Cash only! Also, no take out bags for ya!! ?.I read reviews that someone was upset w “how little filling was inside the beef patty & that it was only all pastry” so…had to try one when I got into the car (I would be upset too) ? Mind u - it’s not my first time buying from Allen’s’ - to me - it’s the same! Same good flaky & buttery pastry & yes, on the initial bite - not so much filling! However, when I get to the middle bites, there’s just enough. Just as I remembered it. The price tho - oiy!! Definitely put a small dent in ma pockets but, my family enjoys patties from Allen’s.Until the next time I feel like a Jamaican Beef Patty & sharing w my fam…I’ll be back. I would recommend - don’t knock it until you try it & ….its in Scarborough. ?Parking: Sometimes it’s packed - so may need to park a bit further and walk to the store. It’s not too bad, definitely within walking distance.

All I can say is “where’s the beef”. I bought a box of beef patties and the patties had more pastry than meat. Very disappointing and won’t be purchasing again.

Get there early if you want options. Food is fantastic and items sell out fast. Defiantly one of the best patty’s in Ontario if not Canada. Very disappointing that they don’t make a veggie patty anymore.
Great patties, but owner's decision for no credit, no debit policy is a huge disservice to your customers, and leaves an awful taste in my mouth. If you're too cheap to pay for transaction fees as a cost of doing business in today's touchless payments world, then at least provide the option and charge the fee to me, I'd rather pay little more than be forced to drive to an ATM to get cash. SMH.
