We ordered 2 dozen cupcakes for our son's birthday party. Our favourite is the French Toast cupcake! Not too sweet but very flavorful. We will buy here again. I haven't tried all the flavours but the banana cupcake is good too. Staff is very friendly and helpful.Kid-friendliness: We attended a toddler birthday party here in the morning. Staff was very friendly and cupcakes were vegan so basically all kids could eat one. There were books, colouring pages and other toys to play with. Not a lot but enough for the kids to enjoy themselves.

i got the smash cake for my 1 yo birthday. we were all extremely happy with the service and the cake looked and tasted phenomenal! even my picky eater torn it apart! thank you so much for adding this amazing memory to his special birthday. Definitely recommend!!

THE BEST London fog cookie I’ve had hands down. Really appreciate their vegan selection, I’ve tried the aforementioned London fog cookie plus an espresso chocolate one (great balance of bitterness and sweetness of the two) and a French toast blueberry cupcake (not too sweet, still decadent and perfectly moist and fluffy). Will absolutely be back to try more. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.

I found out it was a coworkers birthday last minute today, so I did a search of bakeries nearby, and happened upon this gem!! Such friendly service, and beautiful baked goods. Also, I loved that there were some vegan options! So useful for the lactose intolerant life, AND they tasted great (like the london fog cookie in the pic). Will definitely be coming back.

These are the best cupcakes I have ever had. The flavours are unique and always changing. They are also the best looking cupcakes I have seen. They are not too sweet, the icing is perfect, and they stay fresh for days. Stephanie is very responsive and will process your order right away or answer any questions you might have. Even people who do not usually eat cupcakes agree that these cupcakes are incredible. I go out of my way to get them whenever I can (I do not live close to The Danforth but they also deliver to some areas). Stephanie was also very accommodating for my wedding and delivered 130 cupcakes to my reception venue with no issues. I highly recommend Ampersand Bakehouse especially the chocolate strawberry cupcake.Dietary restrictions: Many vegan options available and they taste great. My favourite cupcake is the chocolate strawberry which is vegan and I'm not vegan myself.

We had our daughter's 2nd birthday at the Bakehouse and couldn't be more appreciative of Stephanie, for giving us the best day! She was so incredibly accommodating and kind throughout the entire process - which made her venue stand out for us! It was overall an amazing experience from the planning to our little event! I love Stephanie's vision for the Bakehouse - as she is constantly looking for ways to make socializing/fun + family/kids possible! Thank you Stephanie!!!!!

Took my grandchildren to the PA Day Event, Gingerbread Decorating. It was a great time, the kids loved it. Nice set up, clean, excellence staff that helped the kids and overall a very fun experience!! The girls took home some amazingg cookies and we even bought another cookie decorating kit so they could do it again with their lil sister. We will DEF be back for the next PA Day Event. Great day for children to use their creative skills.
