I visit this establishment at least 1x or 2x a week for dinner and drinks. Yesterday, Mar. 21st, I was there. I always dread the fact that Damian is a bartender. He has to be the worst ever bartender. He has no people skills whatsoever, rude and very ignorant. It even makes me begin to think that he is racist. And this is not the first time that I was served by Damian.For example, I waited 20 min. to get a drink, and I was sitting right at the bar. Everyone around me was getting service except me. 20 min. later I flagged Damian down for a drink, and it seemed like an effort. Not once did he offer me a menu or a glass of water, or nothing of the short.Now 45 min. have gone by and I am still waiting to place my dinner order. Not once did he offer to give me a menu. So I brought this to the Manager’s attention, Brittany, who didn’t seem to care for the service that I was receiving. What a disappointment that was. I wonder if she was also a racist because that is exactly how you all made me feel.Then Brittany brought my bill for the one drink I had and I told her she should be ashamed as a Manager to charge me for the drink given my disgusting experience!!!I suggest you pay more attention to the training you extend to your staff.

Take out experience was great! Friendly hostess and not a bad wait with poker, baseball, and CP24 on in the bar. Got the Brisket Sandwich.Sandwich was incredible, with excellent, crunchy coleslaw. Bun was toasted, which added a great crunchy bite, and perfectly buttery.Fries were great, with tasty seasoning.Included beans were pretty standard and a bit sweet.Pricy!Wheelchair accessibility: There is an automatic door, didn’t notice a step…

I had a reservation, was seated promptly. My server, Becky, was quick to welcome me and take my drink order. Ordered the brisket sandwich w/ fries. It was fantastic. For dessert, Cheesecake which is a work of art and delicious.

Fantastic place. Wide variety of food and drinks. We had a company event here and it all I expected. The staff are polite and courteous. The astetics is also appealing. Cure fireplace, hanging barrels and bar design. I'll definitely visit here

It was my first time visiting Amsterdam Barrel House. My wife and I throughly enjoyed our evening. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was amazing and our server was very nice and pleasant. We enjoyed the beverage recommendations with our meals. I would recommend this place to our friends.
First time at Amsterdam Barrel house and will definitely go back. Love the atmosphere and ambience was cozy ....the waitress was very helpful and attentive. The only thing I had a problem with is lack of desserts .....with such a warm nice place to hang out do better with your dessert menu cuz 2 choices of desserts plus ice cream is a huge disappointment and you all can clearly do better....(some sort of apple pie or crumble would have been a nice add on and bring back that bread pudding please, I would have loved to taste it....

Food and service were fine. Parking during the day is a REAL issue. It was very hard to find a paking spot at 12:15. There are a few 'reserved' spaces for Amsteram Barrel House but they are not managed and taken by people going to other places nearby. Some people parked in 2 spaces.

My visit to The Amsterdam Barrel house with my husband and friends was awesome! The ambience was warm and inviting. Our sever, Michael, was exceptional and enthusiastic. The food was super delicious! I would highly recommend the macaroni and cheese topped with tender brisket! And of course, the beer selection was plentiful, even allowing us to taste test some, before choosing one!

Ate here on a Saturday night & it was very busy. Quite noisy, sometimes it was hard to hear each other when we were talking. We ordered the brisket dinner. Unfortunately the brisket was very dry & not hot, but it had a nice flavour. All the sides were delicious, especially the baked beans, they're excellent. Always great service. All & all a good night & we will be back.

Overall experience was good! Food quality and value was excellent. Unfortunately, the service was rather underwhelming. If they can get that part right, this would be five stars all the way. As restaurants are now reopening again after being closed for so long it always surprises me that the servers don't seem to get that they make more money when they're attentive, they're constantly watching their tables, and they provide good service. Not waiting for the customers to flag them down. It's not complicated.
