Absolutely love their aguachile, its not for the faint-hearted but definitely delicious, ive gotten to know the owner over time and what a lovely soul he is, along with his staff.

Thirty minutes before closing time in mid-Dec, I had the pleasure of trying their mixed tacos and flautas with a margarita. The owner of the restaurant was quite pleasant and surprised us with delicious and generous servings of goodness. I will be back at the next opportunity to try other items. It would be a lovely spot in the Summer with High Park across the street.

A really authentic Mexican food. We tried the mixed tacos and chilaquiles and they were so delicious that we'll have to go back to try other other dishes!

Absolutely no. ‘Authentic Mexican’Pico de gallo vinegar instead of lime…what?1 tortilla on a taco…? Nope nope nope.I called, he says he does his way. Essentially not authentic then. If you say you do it ‘YOUR WAY/DIFFERENTLY’ how is that remaining authentic.. Lol he said he came from LA. Ok and you decided to come to Canada instead…? Ya ok. Make it make sense pal.Of course I’m just a chino. What do I know right

I went in for a drink but they refused to sell me a drink without getting food. If they were nice about it I wouldn’t be making this review even though that rule is absolutely ridiculous and just bad business. The server scowled at me, gave me so much attitude and even rolled her eyes at me for missing the sign. This place is dark and grungy looking I wouldn’t even want to try their food. Put some thought and effort into those you hire and how you run your business because it seems like it’s being run by a complete amateur. Avoid this place!

I do not recommend this weird place. The worst guacamole I've ever had, and I'm from San Diego and know good guacamole! I sent it back and had to pay for it. Plus the owner is an angry , rude jerk that stays open only till 5:30 pm and scares most people away.

Very poor customer service, management took little interest in rectifying a situation for me when a server was incorrect; rather than opting to help us, they decided that we were incorrect and would not exchange our dish for what we had initially ordered.Disappointing, will not return, will encourage my friends and family to refrain from coming here.

The male server was very rude to our group and kept pressuring us to buy food even before we had a chance to order. The food was not even good. They also have a weird rule where you need to order food before you can order any drinks.

My recent visit to Aztec’s Mine was nothing short of disappointing. From the moment I walked in, it was evident that this was not going to be a pleasant dining experience. To start, the service was abysmal. The food, unfortunately, did not redeem the the situation. The dishes lacked flavor and finesse, leaving me wondering if the kitchen even tasted their own creations before serving them. The presentation was equally lackluster. Our plates looked hastily thrown together, with little attention to detail or aesthetic appeal. It was clear that presentation was not a priority for the kitchen staff.Unfortunately, Aztec’s Mine fell woefully short of even meeting basic expectations. I have no intention of returning and cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to others. There are far better dining options available in the area.

Just happened on this place. Good food, good service, real hot hot sauce! Shrimp tacos were delicious, “Cocktail Camaron” (an appy) is delightful. If I moved back to Toronto I might find a place close by!

The bistec burrito is a wonderful thing. All the food iI’ve had here has been amazing. The servers are friendly and it’s never too busy. The location is chill and there’s a nice patio. Overall one of my favourite places in Toronto.

I’ve been told about how horrible the customer service is here at this place but I gave them a chance. The first time I ordered a burrito it was okay. Then I went back for a taco which was fine. I decided to back a third time but that will be the last time I ever visit this place. The owner LACKS customer service experience which reflects the emptiness of the restaurant. All he does is talk to the service girl all day while paying no mind to customers. I ordered the pork rinds tacos which were a chore to each. I couldn’t finish it due to how soggy it was. I complained to the manager who replied “well that’s what it says on the menu” and returned to chatting with the young lady at the front. Please do us a favour and give the restaurant spot to someone who is actually interested in running a restaurant.
