The food: giving it 3 stars, despite the cute/trendy atmosphere. Why? Because their pastries have a lot of buttercream in it, which I’m not very pleased with, and have seen more affordable alternatives from smaller businesses. The service: it is 4 stars because the bakery can get quite busy, but still does a good job with it regardlessThe atmosphere: giving it 5 stars because it’s pretty, and I like their window display.

I placed an order for 5 dozen cookies via Uber Eats on Monday to be delivered to my office for a work function on Thursday. One hour before the scheduled delivery time on Thursday, Bake Sale cancelled my order. I tried calling 5-6 times to understand what the issue was and if I could get the cookies, but no one answered the phone. I'm sure the cookies are delicious, I guess I'll never know.

It look similar to the website , but it tasted so bad. Way too sweet! I can taste the sugar on its own.

They have decent cupcakes - just wish they were a bit less dense and more on the lighter/fluffier side. Other than that, they're pretty good!

I don’t have a sweet tooth but this place sells! We’re almost sold out. I enjoy cream cheese icing carrot cupcake- yum yum

Worst tasting cake ever , very dry cake with no filling…The frosting was too sweet similar to artificial sugar and had chunky texture.. like grocery store bought icing sugar….Cake portion is too small and height of cake is achieved by adding extra cheap frosting..Additionally look wise it’s not great as well..It was embarrassing to cut their cake on my birthday today!!I got to know that it’s for 72 bucks.. what a waste of money ..

Their carrot cakes and cupcakes are the greatest I have ever had. The other options I tried (Nutella cake, Lemon Cake and various cupcakes and macarons) are a bit disappointing i.e. dry, not fresh and bland. The other thing that I don't like is that they don't have proper cupcake boxes so they almost always get ruined during transportation.

I've been going to Bake Sale for years and I don't even live in the area. Their peanut butter cookies and cupcakes are my go to, they also freeze well! Their frozen cookie dough is the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever made, so soft. Their staff is always friendly. I've also ordered online a few times as they sell out of peanut butter cookies pretty quickly.

Best cupcakes in the city!I also bought a cake there this weekend for a family member’s birthday; this was not a pre-order, I just walked in off the street. The cake was fresh, super moist, and absolutely beautiful. They even offered to write “happy birthday [name]” on it on the spot. Fantastic service and fantastic treats. Highly recommend!

Immeasurable disappointment and frustration. I bought a cake with around 7 days of anticipation for my nephew’s birthday and they cancelled me! MINUTES before the appointed time. Not even an explanation? They are playing with one’s time. Not only do I had to search for a solution at the spot, now I have to wait for my reimbursement. Couldn’t even rate the product because they denied service. Never again.

The most awful cake I’ve ever eaten. Too sweet, the sweetness will make you to see a dentist next day. I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Very upsetting experience! I purchased a cookie decorating kit for my Christmas get together as I had done so last year and it was great for the family. Unfortunately I got home and took out the tubes of icing to find very liquid and separated icing that would not combine. The kids were extremely disappointed and for the price point I expect better. I followed up with the bakery the next day and was told a manager would get back to me however there wasn’t any follow up.

Sad to say, just had the worst baked goods ever. We ordered two butter tarts, two turtle bars and two peanut butter cookies with a chocolate piece on top. $18. The butter tarts were complete sugar with a mushy crust, the turtle bars had no pecans and the chocolate tasted like pure sugar, the peanut butter cookie was just soft and tasteless. Ended up throwing it all out. I would diagnose the problem as a lack of good quality ingredients and substitutions. Never again.
