A hidden gem in Toronto! Every staff member is welcoming, friendly and knows their stuff. Happy hour, food and patio are all top notch, but don’t sleep on the brunch - The menu is varied and reasonably priced, and the food itself is fantastic! Our favourite spot for causal food and drinks!

A little off the beaten path but worth it. Good size portions and prices. Best calamari I've had in a long time. It can get pretty packed on a game night. I'd come back.

We had one waiter which was excellent and when 2nd shift came on, this waiter had a pin up his wazoo because he cut us off because my friend jokingly said with the reserved table said " what if we don't want to move, jokingly" she said and this waiter cut the whole table off after we spent over 300 dollars, nice going banknote, we would have made this our no 1 but I guess u don't need seniors. Like your patrons said. Sick!

The staff here are fast, friendly and professional. We were in for dinner yesterday and a rowdy group of mostly seniors was behaving very rudely toward them - it appears that last 1 star review was posted not long after their second round of Sambuca
Banknote Bar has a liar employee working there. I placed an order through door dash at 11pm and did a follow up call to see if the order was confirmed on their end. The guy I spoke to said no the order didn't come through and the kitchen just closed. After the call, I immediately checked my bank account and seen that I was charged for the order and the order did in fact go through on door dash and was assigned a driver. I tried calling back the restaurant just to let them know I was charged and were they sure the order didn't go through because door dash is showing something different. Nobody would answer the phone and I called 9 times lol. They deliberately were avoiding answering the phone because they knew they lied and cancelled the order. If the kitchen is in fact closed, I have no problem with that, but don't ignore phone calls on purpose especially when you're still open. They do not close until 12am and I was calling up until 11:26pm. Again, the issue is not about the kitchen being closed. I was simply calling to let them know I was still charged. Poor customer service and no integrity.
