This is a really nice date spot with an intimate atmosphere and vibes. Every drink I’ve tried was delicious, especially the strawberry cocktail, which surprisingly doesn’t taste like tequila at all. Servers and bartenders are extremely friendly and helpful with recommendations and conversation. I’ve been twice and will definitely be coming back for more in the future.

This place , situated above the exceptional La Banane , also has an extensive food menu. Unfortunately it doesn't quite reach the same bar of quality as they don't share the same kitchen. However they do have an interesting tasting menu concept consisting just of these small bites. It was a worth trying at least once but not worth a detour.Presentation was top notch though!Drinks were again great but the reputation led me to have higher expectations than I should have had.

I had a lovely time here with friends as it was their first time having canapés! The cocktails were amazing and I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the drinks. We all got the tasting menu but unfortunately they ran out of the pork jowl, so they substituted that course with beef tartare and savoury churros. All of the canapés were delicious and I highly recommend getting the tasting menu as you won’t regret trying everything. Overall, I would definitely come here again as it ticks all my boxes for what makes a great bar, good ambience, service, cocktails and food ?!

DRINKS: didn't like most of the drinks, seems like the bartender really like tequila. Big portion of the menu is built based on tequila.• Nitro Swizzle: There's something in this drinks makes my stomach hurts. Mainly pineapple flavor, light and fresh but not special.• Slap Dash: very thick layer of foam, I didn't like the ratio I could barely taste the cocktail through that foam.SERVICE: if you sit in the corner it's very hard for the server to notice you. Food is served in very fancy tray and platter. Overall service was good.VIBE: love the sofa and pillows, the place has minimal decoration but still look very nice.

This is a delayed review but it popped into my mind this morning and it’s worth noting;Bar Banane‘s dining experience is incredibly designed and curated. Intricate flavour combinations and visually appealing dishes bring your experience to another level.4 of my girlfriends and I enjoyed the canapé tasting menu. We started from the top and went right to the end - I ordered extra of the pork jowl. We tacked on the soufflé as well - divine. We were comfortably full after the meal and each one of us had a different favourite, for a different reason.The menu is so artfully created and you can tell from the flavours and execution that each member working there takes great pride in what they do.The cocktails were also delicious and prepared by a competition winning “bartender” (probably called something way more elaborate but I’m a simpleton haha) I may add!This is a perfect spot for an upscale night out with friends, date, business meeting - what have you.I am looking forward to returning in the future and seeing what the chef’s (especially the pastry chef) come up with!

The cocktails are amazing, we tried 8 of them and the two mezcal based were incredible! Drop the bol was so tasty and the strawberry one was delicious!The forbidden negroni was good but very coconut forward so that is surprising!The food is good but very small portion for the tartare. The lobster canapé was fabulous! And very positively surprised by the savoury churros, delicious! The pork jowl was just fat did not like it!
