Had my birthday party at Modercai and it was the most fun I could have asked for, we stayed in the Vegas room and it was amazing. The karaoke music selections were great, they even had Brazilian music which was awesome and unexpected. Tharik was our server and he was incredible, very attentive and offered us the best selections of foods and drinks!!

The only redeeming thing about this venue is the very good quality staff who have to handle the cringey clientele. Food seems decent but not worth the price, especially when it's too dark to even see what you're eating, let alone viewing the menu. The clientele seem arrogant and overcrowd and stand in seated areas.

Great experience as a whole from dining to karaoke in a private room. The staff was all excellent and the food was delicious. Really well made cocktails and fast service. The karaoke room was perfect and the system was so easy to use. It was a little loud upstairs and the bathroom lineups were quite long throughout the night but other than that I have no real complaints. I’d definitely love to go back!

Great place for dinner, drinks and dancing afterwards. Beautiful aesthetic and decor, great vibes. The music is loud so if youre looking for a quiet dinner spot, this is not the place. Good girls night out place. The DJ was awesome played a good mix of rnb, hip pop and pop, she took song requests as well. All the staff were super friendly and nice.The food is also delicious, but super SMALL portions, we were still hungry. The grilled octopus and patatas bravas was absolutely amazing. The ceviche blanco and oysters were not good. Again small portions, this would be my only complaint.

If you are looking for a girls night out, birthday or some dancing this is the place for you. The atmosphere was amazing such nice decor. I had my birthday here and had a fixed menu with all sorts of different tapas style plates. The food overall was okay but the croquettes, burrata, eggplant with feta and steak were amazing! Drinks were good espresso martinis were amazing!The service was great, making this reso workers were so accommodating Ryan the best! Would recommend this place such a vibe!Parking: Paid parking a street down.

I can't go on Dundas West without visiting Bar Mordecai! Christina has set a standard in Toronto with this beautiful bar. You can feel and literally taste the soul she has incorporated into both the food and beverage menus. Happy Hour specials are insanely good. The karaoke rooms are way too much fun. As well, the team comes up with the BEST specials; you had me at All-You-Can-Eat Spaghetti Wednesdays!

We were so excited to go here after the good reviews but our waiter ended up completely scamming me out of my money for the night.I ordered two drinks (14$ and 17$) and one appetizer ($17) and the was charged $72 before tip. When I asked why it was so much he insisted that this was the total for three items. After leaving the bar and checking the prices for the menu on their website again I realized my total should NOT have been almost double the price they charged me!On top of that, we had horrible service with the same waiter. We were told multiple times by him that they would be strict about us having to leave at 9:30 since they had another reservation, to which we completely agreed. At 8:30 the waiter told us it was last call for our table only because they needed to make sure we “leave on time” and refused to let us order anything else. To top it off, he came to our table at 9:00 and told us we HAD to leave at 9:15 even though all night staff had been telling us we had the table until 9:30.This is by far the worst customer experience I’ve experienced for a place that looks and acts like it’s boujee. Save your money and go somewhere else where they won’t try to kick you out early or charge you extra.
