The food tasted ok. Low rating due to the high price for the amount of food you get. A small plate for $17. Wouldn’t visit it

The portion size was good, and ordering was easy. I ordered Satay steak. I am grateful that the employee offered some chicken because there wasn't enough steak left. I was satisfied with the taste of the food. The restaurant is neat and clean. I would go back.

Very quick and was pleasantly surprised. I think it was a tad expensive for what it was, but overall I enjoyed it for a quick lunch.

This location is inside the hospital. We went there seeing the good ratings in Google Maps.Food taste is terrible. We can cook at home and have a better tasty meal.Very disappointed with the food.Very slow service, saw people waiting long time for food and they had to wait long.Vegetarian options: They have some but very, at times they are out of it. They have Tofu.Parking: Very busyKid-friendliness: It's inside the hospital so better not take kids.

Located at TMU where Yonge St meets Elm Street, east side of Yonge. It shares its space with TasteT House (a local bbt spot). Usually when I visit on weekdays either around lunch hours of 1-3 or after work 5-8, there's only 1 person ahead of me. Basil Box has a special place in my heart. I've been visiting several of their locations since they first started out in Toronto. It's one of my go-to spots when I need something that feels like healthier fast food. Most of my orders turned out to be terrible combinations full of regret that were totally my fault. For one order, I asked them to cover my BYOB in Thai Chilis, not realizing how spicy it was, and spent the whole meal crying inside their store while their staff looked on. During my most recent visit, I was lucky and realized maybe Peanut Sauce is the key to the BYOB. I got their Tofu curry walk in daily special for ~$11. It was so good, I was really surprised. The portion was enough to stretch to a 2nd meal. Although weirdly the rice hardened so I ended up throwing those leftovers away...:( Their Thai iced tea is OK. I feel every other BBT spot makes it better. Theirs is a bit watery. I tried their new satay fries. It's just fries seasoned with some satay seasoning powder (if you add on an egg to your dish, know you're literally getting a sunny side up egg with that powder on top). I thought it was too salty, and had to drown it out with other food items. They have a partnership with Wong's ice cream so I definitely recommend trying those pints out. Lots of different seating, good if you're alone or with friends. It's also relatively quiet; you could probably get away with studying or working remotely here.

I honestly love Basil Box! They always prepare my box fresh! ♥️ Their King location introduced a new Cafe concept called Saigenh Corner which offers Viet Iced Coffee, Cookies & their flan-tastic flan ? Definitely a must try! ✨

This is an awesome BASIL BOX! I would say it's the best one, but I haven't been to many before. The staff are incredibly kind and provide exceptional service. And the food is delicious with great vegan options, definitely a top-tier fast food place. Highly recommend!

Wow wow!!!! I got this tofu basil box, with the Panang curry, and the topping were so fresh! The rice was nice sticky brown rice, and the whole thing just came together so well! I also asked for a spoonful of the peanut sauce which just made it taste just a bit better I think! This location always is super friendly and the ingredients have always been fresh, I've been coming here for months. Their portions are also exactly what you would expect them to be. I can't wait to come back and try a different combination of sauces!

Really enjoyed the food here. All the dished I ordered are delicious and freshly cooked. The portion is huge. Absolutely a good choice for anyone wanting to have a healthy and tasty meal while wandering around financial district.
