It was our first time dining at this restaurant and based on our experience, it's one we'll be coming back to.We arrived a bit early, but our table was ready and we got seated right away. It's not a big space, but I like the way it was all set-up. Even with the music and other customers, we were still able to have conversations and it still felt intimate. The servers were all amazing; explaining the dishes and also making recommendations. We were checked on regularly, and even the chef came by to say hello. The food arrived on time, and my goodness, we did not regret a single choice. We tried options from both the special and regular menu - pate en croute, cassoulet royal, cuisse de canard confite and the souffle. The servings were generous and the food was delicious. The souffle felt like air, and even though I was stuffed, it was hard to stop eating it.Thank you for the amazing experience, Batifole!Parking: There is paid parking on the street and also a Green P parking lot close to the venue - about 3 to 4 minutes walk.

This place is a hidden gem. I’m a huge fan of French food and I can’t believe I just found out about it. From the food, service and ambience, everything is perfect. We had the Steak tartare, Crustade of lamb, Tournedos Rossini, Pommes frites, and the Grand Marnier soufflé. Highly recommend them all. I will become a regular here for sure.

Outstanding and truly memorable - a total gem of a bistro and a spectacular experience. The food was absolutely incredible and I cannot say enough about the kind and hospitable service the two of us received. A truly boutique style French spot with all of the charm, all of the flavour, all of the warmth, and none of the stuffiness or pretension one might expect. We will remember this meal, this experience, this evening and this staff for years to come. We are already planning our next visit. Thank you, Batifole.

I had dinner at Batifole last evening. It was absolutely SUPERB . The food was beyond exquisite and the atmosphere wasPure “France”. I have lived and dined in Toronto for 4 decades. And been to France many times. This was the best Meal I have had in Toronto . Ever !!The truffle entree was delicious , the duck confit was divine , and the lemon tart with raspberries was the best I have ever tasted. And the chef came outTo greet us at the end of the meal in true Parisian fashion .I hesitated to share This only because I know I will have a difficulty getting a reservation if others discover this French gem right here in Toronto.

One of the few restaurants in Toronto that is worth eating at these days. Delicious and authentic French food. Service is always amazing!

The restaurant looks a bit shabby on the outside. The menu is seasonal, and the specialties of fried duck and scallops have been retained. The fried duck is really good. The second tape was a bit mushy. I found that the arrangement of the straps often changes. daily soup feels average. Also ordered a pork. It felt very salty halfway through the meal.I was a little disappointed to see three hairs on tonight's tablecloth and pre-dinner bread. But the service is still very enthusiastic. It doesn’t feel as amazing as Xiaohongshu and Google review say. The overall feeling of the dishes is that the fried duck is 5 points, the scallops are 4 points, the pork is 3 points, and the daily soup is 2 points. Overall, the meal averages 3.5 points.

This place has amazing French cuisine at a price point that’s pretty reasonable. I’d definitely recommend going with their steak and bone marrow! The cut of steak isn’t what you would typically see at one of these upscale restaurants but the pairing with the bone marrow made a lot of sense and made it taste like it was wagyu!! Everything was beautifully seasoned. I’d definitely come back again ?

Overall a nice dining experience, good and quick service. The charcuterie board and beef tartar were good but a bit too salty to my taste. I really enjoyed the Raclette braised pork cheek main course, definitely the highlight of the evening. The restaurant is a bit overpriced in my opinion, but that’s something to be expected in Toronto. ??‍♂️
