If McDonald's made chicken shawarmas, this would be it. Nothing traditional or authentic about this.Chicken: this is chicken?!? It's got the rubbery consistency of processed meat.Bread: rubbery like a burrito or soft shell taco. It isn't saj or regular pita.Veggies: just potato. That's it.Sauce: taste and consistency of some processed cheese mayonnaise based monstrosity. Gah.What's even more sad is how long it took to make. Almost 10 minutes with an empty store. Now, if it was real chicken and it was being warmed up or cooked on a griddle, the 10 minutes would have made complete sense. This processed "chicken" that I got in the sandwich should not have taken 10 minutes to prepare unless it was thawed in a microwave and then put into a sandwich. I don't know if that's what happened, but it would have made sense. It's straight up food for drunks. Sad and low quality.

The best Falafel in Toronto, the sandwich literally took a second to finish it lol. Nice service too?

If you near Greek town , don’t bother with this place … We walked in and try to order a platter we could share , to which the server answered let me get you the manager , it seems like your order doesn’t exist on the menu. Finally manager came and wasn’t greater help either ☠️at this point we gave up since we were starving. We end up ordering this dish with shish tawook ( meat ?) with one kafta ( ground beef ) and we got this ( $38) and they forgot to bring us our drinks as well. Never ever again , meat was not chewable, old rice ?

Best Middle eastern food that you can have in Toronto ! It tastes 100% authentic ,No extras ! Great customer service ,We tried Cold and Hot mezzas ( both were delicious) The Saj Chicken Shawarma is to die for , Kabab sandwich is amazing as well ! Make sure to try the garlic sauce ?Sorry the pic was after we finished the food , couldn’t handle to take a pic before ?My only comment will be is that the music is really loud ,They have a new special shawarma , it comes with cheese mushroom and corn ?

Skip it. There are much better restaurants in the area. I was excited to try it but it was very bad. I ordered food from here and the meat was extremely dry and tasteless. The food does not seem fresh. The platter was just skewer, fries and a small amount of hummus for $20. It's very poor value for what you get. With all the other spots in the area with similar options, choose those instead. I have no idea how they have this many high reviews. I will not be returning or recommending.

The food was tasty. The staff was welcoming and the atmosphere was food. I tried the chicken shawarma option with fries on the side, and my friend tried the kebab with a side of rice. Personally I would recommend the rice as the side because it is filling, but both are equally tasty. There's patio as well as covered dining. The service was great. Overall, I would return again.

I wish I took a photo! It was just too delicious not to get started! My friend and I stopped in and ordered the Reezy mixed grill, Chicken kebab sandwich and greek salad. It was accompanied by fresh pita, hummus and garlic sauce. The owner was very polite and very friendly, he made sure to make us feel welcomed and comfortable! The food was spectacular and very authentic with it's care and quality of ingredients. We can't wait to return as this is now our new spot!

Wonderful place, nice family and very delicious food! Our experience there was amazing, we ordered Toshka, hummus and muttabal. We enjoyed our meal. Also we ordered Barbican "malt beverage" it is sold there. Mr. Othman and his wife and daughter are such a kind people. Everything is clean and the service was perfect! I recommend this restaurant for sure and they deserve more than 5 stars!

This was absolutely delicious. I was a little concerned about a few of these reviews but I’m so glad I took the chance to try this place. I don’t know what anyone is talking about because the food was absolute fire. SO good. Tender, flavourful chicken and beef. Delicious rice that was not filler at all, it was actually a superstar in this dish. Decadent garlic sauce and really nice, sour pickles. Generous portions even with the “two for one” deal online. I would love to dine in one day because the decor looks cute. I really enjoyed this meal. Thank you.

This restaurant on Danforth and Pape was empty on a Saturday night. I was interested to know why. The first clue came when we asked for the drinks menu. We were given a choice between soft drinks and non-alcoholic beer. The food was average, your regular Middle Eastern fare. The second clue came when I sampled the Tabbouleh salad. The lemon juice tasted as if it came from a bottle. Any restaurant that takes its food seriously would at least squeeze a fresh lemon for the salad. The service was OK but the place lacked ambience due to it being empty and the owner scrimping on the decor. The place functions better as a take out outlet. Overall a mediocre dining experience.

Fresh and delicious, as always! Super clean and the renovations create a nice bright ambience.

This area reminds me of Istanbul's Fatih district. There is a tasting stop on every corner ?The service is a bit slow, but I think it's because of the Ramadan month. The price is excellent, and it is a clean place. I highly recommend this place.

Really disappointed with my uber eats order. Not only was I missing items from my order, the fries were some of the worst I've ever seen. Day old McDonald's fries that were reheated in the microwave would taste better than what I was given."trying to distort the image of the restaurant""I challenge you in front of everyone"Wow. Complete unprofessional behavior from the owner. I've used uber eats to order food from you many times and was generally pleased with my orders. This time however I was shocked from how different the food was from the previous experiences. Based on your poor response I do wonder how many of these "reviews" are bought for.

Horrible food. The food was burnt, the fries were like few days old, the side order was missing. The first time I ordered it was bad, but I thought let’s give them another chance, but this time it was even worse. Highly NOT recommended. Not worth the money you spent at all.
