Horrible service! We waited almost 30 minutes for our food 1 hamburger and 1 order of fries.. all while 3 guys ordered after us and got all their food first. I don't know what the owners problem is.. this isn't the first time either. I thought the 1st time maybe he was just having a bad day. This guy is racist and has ZERO customer service skills unless you are one of the construction workers around the area!!! Highly disappointing and sad!Edit!!! He really gave me a cold bun out of the fridge LOL ther is a special place for people like you!!!

Ive been coming here for years. Food was always excellent and smiling Tom was a pleasure to interact with. The new owner is extremely rude and needs an attitude adjustment. Food is still decent except for the bland gravy. When I asked for extra ketchup I was given a stern lecture on the cost of ketchup and I should be charged extra for it.

Anytime I go to Canadian Tire or Shoppers at this location I try to arrange it at lunch time. Their fries are the best. Have not tried the hot dogs and sausage but I bet they are delicious too. The owner is very nice.

The guy working was pretty rude. I thought he was just kidding then realized he really was rude. The food was blah. The Italian sausage tasted like nothing and reminded me of vegan fake meat texture wise. The fries were ok. I ended up being able to get gravy. He slammed the drinks down. Then proceeded to tell me the order of toppings (liquids first then solids). Pretty weird.

Perfectly decent food, but the owner's attitude is so bad that it seems rehearsed. Strong drill sargeant/soup na*i vibes. He was extremely curt with every customer while we were there. He seems to have this preconceived idea of how you should place an order, and any deviation from his internalized procedure is met with a stern retort, as if you should know better. We first tried to order a chicken burger and didn't immediately catch that he replied "no chicken burger"... he did NOT appreciate having to repeat that there were not, in fact, any chicken burgers. Ok, beef burger then, and a poutine. "Is that it?" he said. I had to say "that's it" twice, possibly because my first attempt wasn't quite assertive enough to his liking. That is it, sir yes sir! While waiting for our food, we looked up the latest google reviews for the place, which made us fear the worst. The food turned out to be surprisingly good - as others have mentioned, he is stingy with cheese curds on the poutine, but the fries were well cooked and the gravy was hot and tasty. The burger had that typical homemade quality of a good greasy spoon burger. All in all, totally appropriate for this type of venue and price point.I would go back just to witness other people get roughed up by this guy's otherworldly crustiness. I hope to see his legend grow and radiate across town. Three stars for the food and an extra half star for the entertainment value.

UNDER NEW OWNERSHIP… Fries are still great, portions much smaller, prices higher and the owner (not a smiling Tom despite what his food safe licence indicates) keeps all the condiments behind the window, even the salt. I asked for lots of salt and ketchup, mayo and onions and was told he would give me a “reasonable amount”. He complained about cost and said other places would charge and that’s why the condiment table is not outside anymore. It cost me $16 for two medium fries and two cans of Diet Pepsi. I get the onion cost and the mayo but the ketchup and salt??? I want the fries dressed my way—not his—there was no ketchup underneath and no salt. McDonalds, Costco, and every other mom and pop chip stand allows you to dress them as you wish, he should take heed of the successful business he took over. While the fries were great, his attitude was not. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

Really love the sausage and fries here. The sausage was cooked very well and dressed very well with lots of toppings that make it so flavourful. The fries as well were amazing as it was crispy and tasted as if it was fresh cut and also loaded and dressed really well. The owner seasoned it perfectly with salt and pepper and we could not get enough of it.Plus the owner was such a great person, who spoke with us and was funny and caring. We were short a couple dollars, since it is only cash and he still said no worries and gave us the food and even gave extra drinks for me and partner. We made sure to come back the next day and repay him and had more of the great food!

The ownership must have changed hands because the current reviews do not reflect my opinion of this place.Poutine gravy was flavourless. They were stingy on cheese curds. Here in my photo only a few were put on and they weren’t layered. Also the owner was super rude. I asked for a Coke Zero and when I noticed I was served a coke (the cans look alike now) I asked to exchange it.. it was unopened and he gave me a hard time saying “don’t make that mistake again”.I wouldn’t come back here.

Had it for the first time since it changed ownership. Boy has it changed. I ordered a poutine and there was next to no curds. I’m not exagerating when I say there were only 3 or 4 curds. It was basically fries and gravy. Fries had a weird chemically taste to them. I’d avoid. Owner was also very rude. I ordered a Coke Zero and he put a coke on the counter while he was getting the rest of my food. I brought it over to my wife at the table and she said I actually ordered a Coke Zero and handed him the coke. He passive aggressively said “next time don’t make that mistake. You brought it to the table before realizing it was the wrong drink. Tell me earlier next time”

Great fries and sausage. Have gone many times. Get the gravy on the fries. I got the poutine once at lunch, almost got fired for taking an afternoon nap!Atmosphere is picnic tables in a parking lot, but what else would you expect? Take the food to one of the many many parks in the area to enjoy!
