The basic breakfast special was good, the home potatoes very nicely spiced, the jam that came with the toast tasty. Everything - eggs easy over, bacon, rye bread, and home fries - was cooked right. It's like a greasy spoon that feels a little big and clinical but offers the vast menu and great service. Espresso coffees are a nice addition. My only concern is the three-egg breakfast platter, a practice becoming common that I find totally unnecessary, adding to price and offering way too much food.

Due to family urgency, i have to rush into this cafe for a quick bite and most importantly, charge my laptop and make a webex call. Im so glad this place provides hot and high quality food with decent price. They also let me have the outlet to charge my laptop and after that, i can enjoy my hot latte.

Decent breakfast and lunch cafe that serves up sandwiches, pizzas, salads, soups and beverages, located behind the major hospitals on Murray Street.Had the Avocado and Cream Cheese breakfast sandwich on Turkish bagel. The bread was toasted, which made it light and airy. Paired with avocado and cream cheese, it tasted great and filled my stomach.Cappucino was strong as it used Turkish coffee as base.Decor was up to date, place was clean. Staff was efficient.Vegetarian options: Vegetarian sandwiches, pizzas, soups options are available.Parking: Paid on street parking or nearby parking garages.Wheelchair accessibility: There's an accessible ramp leading up to the cafe. However, they do not have accessible doors.

Flavorful food, wonderfully friendly staff, excellent Turkish undertones, and located near the Princess Margaret Cancer Center, you can't go wrong eating at the Bread and Bowl. The corn chowder was tasty, as were the grilled veggie and roast beef wraps. But our favorite is the Borek! Following lunch we enjoyed the most amazing cappuccino with a tahini treat. The food is what attracted us but the kind, considerate workers are what will bring us back. This place is a must eat.
Very friendly staff who served us at the table, answered any questions with a smile and were very prompt in serving us. I thoroughly enjoyed the red lentil soup with their Borek along with some of the traditional desert items. Roomy facilities for navigating with a stroller and bright with large windows, only wish the decor had more of the authentic Turkish vibe that the food had. Also very affordable prices.Wheelchair accessibility: Large venue with roomy walkways and a ramp to access the building.

I was in a trip and the place looked good, but I felt like not everything I bought was good, it was "Ok".But the pizza was wonderful!
Ordered lunch for pick-up here twice now and the food has been excellent, and the service super friendly and attentive!Really nice house-made food. The lemon cranberry loaf was 10/10

I would like to specially thank Nil and the Bread & Bowl team for helping with my catering needs. Nil and her team gave the best catering experience I had in a very long time. I had an important work event coming up and was thankful enough to come across Bread & Bowl. They were so professional and the food was delicious. If anyone is looking for a catering look nowhere else, Bread & Bowl is the company to go with. They deliver the best quality food for the best price you can get on the market.
