Wife got food poisoning from their lobster pasta. This is entirely unacceptable in sny restaurant, but given the price point of 55 dollars we were appalled.

Was really not impressed with this restaurant. It’s on the Michelin list, so I had high expectations. First of all they charge 8.50 for water, the bread knots tasted like something frozen out of a box. The lobster pasta tasted like it had a full block of butter cooked in it. The pizza had a weird contrast with the cold cheese on there. I ordered the Veal - it was ok - but they don’t offer a side with this?? 65 dollars for a piece of veal which was also drowned in butter. Not to mention it came about 30 mins after my fiancées main dish. Really regretted spending $300 on dinner here. Should mention our server was very friendly and did a good job.

What a disappointing birthday meal for my husband. Our meal was below average. Nothing was amazing not even the lobster pasta which had a strong fish taste. I originally booked at the new st.Clair location and was convinced to switch to here by the hostess I had spoken to not realizing the menu was different. The atmosphere is boring and the place needs a solid update its looked the same for some time now. Our server was lovely but not even my French martini was great. The menu options are limited and no one really enjoyed their meal. Will not be coming back here. For the price there are so many better options than this.

Came here for a Valentine’s dinner and it was so special! The focaccia and lobster pasta were good, but the soppressata pizza was the star of the show. Also had their pineapple mocktail which was delicious. Lovely service and ambiance, will definitely come back for dessert and more special occasions!

Booked last minute for 4ppl + a baby. They were very kind and gracious and gave us the semi-private dining table. Our amazing server Alex was patient with us the needs of the baby. Loved the atmosphere and the food was incredible. Can't wait to go back.

Lacklustre - service was cheerful, but slow. We had to flag our server down a few times. Little knowledge of the wines and pairings. The cocktail I had was excellent though! The food was just ok. A lot of butter and highly priced for the value.

I ocassionally visit this place and have to say, one of the best pasta places in Toronto. My favourite is the lobster pasta. Desserts and cocktails are also amazing. I felt like the atmosphere and service are also adequate for special occasions. Will continue to visit time to time?

The menu is a disaster. Not at all like it was prior to the departure of Gentile. It felt like every option was odd and restrictive. We were laughing that there was nothing to eat!

It’s a solid 4 stars.Cocktail arrived rather late, and it wasn’t a busy night.Food is great but given the price, it doesn’t have a wow factor that will attract me to revisit.Atmosphere is upscale and relaxing. The leather table pad and a lot of stuff show sign of wear.Washroom is unisex

Great evening at Buca to celebrate a birthday. Food was delicious and plentiful. Outstanding service led by Reuben but lots of others assisting to ensure everything taken care of thoughtfully. Excellent wine list. Louder but fun ambiance. Looking forward to returning.

Overall we had a fairly good experience.Truffle pasta was good, however could have used a bit more salt. My husband had the octopus which was sadly under seasoned and overcooked.Service was amazing, and the restaurant had an overall good atmosphere!
