You'll never know because when you call to make a reservation answer the phone and leave you on hold until you hang up. You can't get anybody on the phone to make a reservation.

We visit Piano Piano whenever we are in Toronto and it never disappoints. The food on our most recent visit was great--calamari to share to start; chopped salad and house salad; and sea bass and tortelli con bolognese. All perfectly cooked and large portions. The service was excellent--attentive but not intrusive. And everyone in the room looked like they were having a great time. We go every time we are in Toronto.

Service was good and attentive but they don’t keep their reservation commitments (we booked dining room and not second floor but they put us in the second floor because it was raining and they gave our table to others that were sitting in the patio). The food was mediocre and nothing special to brag about and wine menu selection very limiting. There are better alternatives in the area if you are looking not to be disappointed with your evening.

Keen to try the newly opened Oakville Piano Piano and as indoor dining wasn't allowed yet booked a table on the patio. There is good news and bad news about our experience... The bad news: the tables are way too small and cannot physically accommodate everything, plates, water glasses wine bottle, etc. They are also too close together, making it virtually impossible to avoid eavesdropping on your fellow diners. The service is a bit hit and miss, but I am sure that will improve. The good news: the food is well prepared and tasty: grilled calamari perfectly cooked and well seasoned. We both ordered the branzino, our serve warned us that this was a big meal, a whole fish, and we may have over-ordered, but we stayed with our choice and anticipated a Moby Dick sized fish to be delivered on the shoulders of a group of burly, muscled servers. In fact what appeared was a single fillet on a bed of salad. In the poor fillet's defense it was well cooked and very tasty, but for $35 it should be. The wine list is good but in common with most restaurants it is way overpriced - I can't understand why a bottle of wine triples in price from leaving the LCBO to arriving at a restaurant! All in all, good if over-priced food, would dine here again, but only when it is possible to eat inside, not on the patio.

We were excited to try the new Piano Piano in Oakville. We booked a patio table, but they have crammed them into the tiny space and we were too close to the next table and it was awkwardly placed. Our server was ok, but the food was just ok. The prosciutto starter is a huge plate of prosciutto with a few warm grapes scattered on it, frankly something I could do in my kitchen in 2 minutes. The octopus was tender but it’s $35 for two tentacles and a plate of fried potatoes. The fish was ok and the Brussels sprouts crispy but again, far too many of them for a side, even shared. I don’t think we will be back, which is a shame because we loved the previous restaurant in this venue.

More like fast food , authentic Italian , not a chance. 6 out of 10, service “rushed “ get in get out . Manager never bothered to check in , despite limited seating (patio only ) No vibe Very disappointed

My partner and I are huge foodies and dine out often. We JUST got back from Piano Piano and I just had to leave a review. Normally, I never do and if I do have a bad experience with the food, it’s usually compensated for by the polite staff. But let me tell you about chef VICTOR BARRY. We were not too pleased with my partner’s dish but that’s okay, it happens. We were willing to forgo my main and get the cheque and leave. However chef VICTOR BARRY came out to our table. We were expecting a little apology, perhaps some small funny talk. Rather, he obnoxiously told us that a new plate was being made, making us feel like our concern was not valid. When we said we are not interested in a new dish, he proceeded to cut us off and collect our plates before we were even done expressing our concern. As a chef at a restaurant, whether you are a satisfied customer or not, the staff, ESPECIALLY THE CHEF, should be understating and try and resolve the issue rather than give you attitude and take it personally. CHEF BARRY was completely unprofessional and unfriendly. We will not be back. Also, I hope he reads this and takes some advice from a supposedly valued customer.

We were seated on the pop up patio which was nice to be away from street traffic. The burrita appetizer was just okay as well as my pizza. Not flavourful. My husband liked that his pasta was cooked al dente but I felt it also lacked flavour. There are much better Toronto Italian restaurants. Service was not great either. I wouldn’t return.

This restaurant is doubtless one of the tastiest place to eat in the area. Whenever I come to this place I am truly pleased. They hold their very high level service and the highest level of dishes they give. You always win with this place. Very recommended.

If you are looking to get good food do not come here. Huge disappointment not real Italian could of used my money else where on real Italian food. Very salty , buttery, and fake tasting. I am Italian and I don't approve coming here.
