Warm salads so nice, going there for brf with friend. Atmosphere is awesome, always booked idk hard just go enjoy. Meat and soup tried, better salads. Service is good, nice place. Liked vegan food very much.

I recently dined at this restaurant, and the food was a delightful surprise. The flavors were new to me, and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. However, my overall experience was marred by the restaurant's confusing waitlist system.Upon entering, I noticed a waitlist tablet. Naturally, I wanted to add my name to the list, but I encountered resistance from both fellow patrons and the waitress. They accused me of cutting the line, even though I arrived after them. And obviously they didn’t sign up on the list while acknowledging its existence. Even after I explained my intention was only to sign up on the waitlist not to cut the lines, the patrons and waitress still wouldn’t let me use the tablet and asked me to return to the queue.The situation was extremely confusing. If the restaurant doesn't intend to use the tablet for waitlisting, why have it out in the first place? And when it was finally my turn to be seated, the waitress asked if I had added my name to the list. It felt like a Catch-22 situation: should I have used the tablet or not?Cafe Landwer has been a restaurant I wanted to try for a long time so I still stayed even after this awful incident. I really hope it was not a discrimination against me personally. And I also hope the restaurant clarifies its waitlist process to avoid such confusion in the future.

This place offers a unique blend of Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. The food is really good, although portions are on the smaller side. I ordered the arais burger and enjoyed the variety of dipping sauces.The restaurant itself is very spacious for Toronto, and offers a cool diner feel.We found the service to be a bit lacklustre and disorganized, as we had 3 different staff members tend to our table throughout the meal, which caused for significant delays in the time it took to place our orders and receive the bill.

Today I went to Landwer and we ordered the Fatoush salad and the kebab sandwich. What was seemingly a regular item to order was unbelievably extraordinary to eat. The ingredients were so fresh and such high-quality that we were using the croutons to wipe up the salad dressing. I cannot overstate how good it was and I cannot wait to go back again to try other salads and sandwiches. But that’s not all - even though we were there at a very busy time of day I believe his name is Batu. He took such good care of us and made us feel like we were the only ones in the room. We would highly recommend this place !!!!
