They are wizards. The only explanation I have for how they created this jaw dropping work of art. Didn’t know I could have my breath taken away by a cake. I was beyond amazed when I picked up my cake this morning, it's everything I could have imagined!My boyfriend was blown away when I surprised him with it, he couldn't stop raving about it! Monja and her team were a delight to work with! Monja is a talented artist as much as she is a fantastic baker! She made our wedding cake last July, and it tasted just as good as it looked. The top and bottom tiers were a marble sponge cake with cookies and cream buttercream frosting while the middle tier was a vanilla sponge cake with alternating limonata and strawberry milkshake buttercream frosting. Monja incorporated our monogram and purple colour scheme for the design of the cake, as well as added fresh flowers to finish off the look. Our guests raved about how beautiful and delicious our wedding cake was!

I emailed them during the holiday season requesting a birthday cake for my nephew and provided them with some ideas and a picture of what I wanted the cake to look like. They responded promptly, confirming all the details of the cake and let me know that it would be ready for pick up on December 23rd. I had a few questions about the flavour and filling pairings of the cake which they helped by providing suggestions.When I picked up the cake I was absolutely blown away by how beautiful it was!! The cake looked even better than the inspo pic I sent! They did everything I requested and made it look even better with some add ons. My nephew said it is the best cake he ever got and did not want us to cut it. He finally let us cut the cake and it was as delicious as it looked ! Best carrot cake we ever tasted! I also ordered a dessert tray – the cake pops, macarons and canolis were amazing and I was pleasantly surprised that Monja used the same colour theme as the cake. Not only were the cake and desserts yummy, the service was also excellent. Cakestar replied promptly to my many emails. CakeStar made an incredible Minnie Mouse cake for my daughter’s 1st birthday. It was the best red velvet cake that I’ve ever had and there are so many flavours to choose from. They are incredibly responsive and work with you to get your vision across perfectly. The custom cake I ordered looked stunning and was perfectly moist. Plus, the fondant was so smooth and easy to cut through. It was such a hit and an absolute work of art. My baby girl loved it!! Thanks again and I’ll absolutely be coming back.
