Delicious Malaysian food that’s pretty hard to find in Toronto. Cash onlyNasi lemak was pretty good, but the standout was definitely the sambal. Really spicy and lingers in your mouthChar kway teow was really tasty and reminded me of eating it on the streets of Penang. Noodles were pretty smoky and the taste of soy sauce really came through. The fish head curry with vermicelli was rich, creamy and slightly spicy. A little like laksa but not the same level of heat. They also do Ikan Bakar (not on the menu) but you have to order it an hour ahead.

The tea bone pork tastes like Cantonese style, but I didn’t expect it to be a Malaysian dish. If I lived nearby, I would eat it at least once a month.

Very authentic nasi lemak and fried kway teow (fried flat rice noodles), as someone who grew up where these dishes come from I can firmly attest to this. Please ignore the negative reviewers who are expecting a "rich" coconut rice taste, the real Malaysian/Singaporean coconut rice has a delicate taste.

My kids and friends eat there and they force them to pay tip each one of them .What kind of staff are these people. You are taking so much advantage to the kids who just want to eat and because they are just teenagers you’ll do that to them.?! You don’t deserve any star at all!!!

I tried the curry noodles today. It turned out to be good. Not too oily or spicy and the portion is just right. I will definitely order it again at my next visit.

Ordered a Nasi Lemak for pick up cuz my coworker was so hype about it. However, The chicken was so dry. The portion of the meat was so small it’s not worth the $15.25 I feel scammed!

We’ve been missing Malaysian food and this one is pretty close to home ?. Sambal is quite spicy so make sure you drink a lot of water and bring your towel ?. Definitely will be coming back to try out some of the menu.

Nasi Lemak special comes with a small bowl of soup and a drink of your choice. The dish includes rice, spicy chicken, sambal (chilli sauce), egg, cucumber, peanuts, anchovies. The rice is dry and has only a barely noticeable hint of coconut; it couldn’t be called the real nasi lemak since it doesn’t have the rich coconut milk taste with the fragrant pandan leaf. The super hard boiled egg is only slightly fried. Although a little dry and tough, the spicy chicken tastes good. The sambal has a good kick and might be too spicy for those who don’t eat spicy food.

Back in the day, I used to be a regular at this cozy little joint known for serving up a nice bowl of fish head pickled green noodle soup. It was my goto comfort food, a dish that never failed to warm my heart. But then came the age of COVID-19, and with it, a change that I hadn't anticipated. The last few times I visited, I couldn't help but notice that something had shifted in the kitchen. The soup, once a harmonious blend of flavors, had lost its former glory. The fish head, once tender and succulent, now seemed lackluster, and the broth lacked the zesty punch it once had. I couldn't quite put my finger on it, but it was evident that the quality had taken a nosedive.I've been left wondering whether they hired a new chef or if the pandemic has made it challenging to source the freshest ingredients. It's a pity to see such a beloved dish falter like this.Despite the disappointment, I haven't entirely given up on the place. I'm holding out hope that they'll bounce back, that the fish head pickled green noodle soup will once again reign supreme. Maybe I'll muster the courage to give it another try down the road, hoping to recapture those flavors that used to bring me so much joy.Until then, I'll cherish the memories of those flavorful bowls of soup, hoping for brighter days in the future.
