While the food has been good, it's unfortunate that it's also not worth the trouble to get it. The tall lady taking orders is beyond rude, unapproachable and contributes to an unappealing dining experience. Luckily, I am Jamaican and know that this display of lack of mannerisms is not reflective of our culture. The food is very good. This is my favorite place to buy jerk food every time I visit Toronto west end.The attitude of servers at 90% of Jamaican restaurants has to change. I purchased meals asking for oxtail gravy and was told it would be about 1 dollar more .I agree to the price ,I got home and couldn't find the gravy I paid extra for.I will attach pictures and show the receipt.

The food is amazing and you can't beat the prices . The service is fast and very friendly. I would highly recommend it to anyone that likes Caribbean food . I will stop in anytime I'm in the area even if I'm not hungry lol .

There is nothing good about this place. .. Staff is miserable and rude , i guess as they work for less than minimum wage!! Food is totally disgusting. ! You pay for your food but they act as if you are begging it. .. It’s so sad that getting rich is more important than the way you treat others .. God is watching us all and Karma is real. .. I would never buy food from this place again. . They don’t care about the customers just how much money they can make. . I got sick from eating jerk chicken last week. I notice the people in the kitchen touching food with their dirty hands. . Cook at home and boycott these restaurants who don’t care about customers..

Taking time out of my busy day to write a review because of the terrible service. I went in this morning to buy food and the lady at the front counter had a terrible attitude. Any question I asked about the menu, her reply was “read the menu” and kissing her teeth. Because of her I didn’t feel like eating her anymore. I left and off to find another restaurant to eat at.

Since they changed their name from Kitchen King Jerk, the quality of the cuisine has declined. This is especially true of the $5 special fried or jerk chicken with red sauce that is available at all times of the day. I bought a medium, half-fried, half-jerk chicken, and the woman covered it in gravy when all I asked for was gravy on the rice. The rice and peas are no longer as good, and my food was chilly when it should have been warm—I assume because it had been sitting all day.

Food quality has gone down since they’ve switched their name from kitchen king jerk they food quality was better specially when they had the $5 special fried or jerk chicken with red sauce going on any time of the day. Bought a medium half jerk half fried and the lady pour gravy all over the chicken where I only asked for gravy to be on the rice & the rice n peas isn’t as great any more plus my food was cold should of been warm but I guess it was food they was sitting all day

What is going on here. Food taste nice. I'm eating this curry goat dinner an I find a piece of metal in the food. Thank God I didn't swallow this piece of metal shred to go down my throat. I take my picture of the meal with the shred to find my husband looking through reviews to also see someone else comment a review of the same issue. I create this review to also warn others to beware of this food that can potentially do you serious harm to your body. This food here can send you to the nearest hospital. I want to warn anyone that buys this food to take great caution when going to eat from here. I love me some curry goat, again it tastes great but I cannot accept finding metal shred In my food. I'm surprised to see another person having the exact same problem as myself. That's even more scary. Will not be eating here and I hope they change the cook and or management so that they don't kill anyone who decides to eat their food. Something has to be done about this or this will be somebodys last supper. Trust on that. GOD is great saving me from serious harm.

Ordered ackee and saltfish. Choice of side: yam, boiled dumpling & banana. WHERE IS THE YAM?????The food is priced the way it is bc of the "provision" foods that comes w it... ?, yam, plantain... This is non-negotiable... I've never in my LIFE seen someone do this. They're crooks.That's like paying for premium topping pizza and getting delivered a cheese. LmaoCalled... No answer... They packed up and ran to Mexico??? ???
