Been wanting to check them out since last summer. They did not disappoint. I got the medium spiced, Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich. It was crispy and juicy. Tried the corn ribs too. They were cooked and seasoned perfectly.Music was good. The seating area is smaller than I expected. Got a long bar height table and a smaller one. Lot of stools. The art was nice too. It was a great experience. The employee who took our order was great too. Definitely coming back

I was lucky to have a friend who is also a Yelp elite, and got into this event with me.This way we got to try both sandwiches and an order to side of fries to complement the meal.I found them really big and saucy, especially the Szechwan one (which was mine). I had to keep putting it down and wiping my hands but it was really tasty.Definitely a bang for your buck with the portion size.I liked my friends Nashville chicken more as it has the buttery flavour and not as much movement.I was definitely stuffed after this meal, probably wouldn't go back for dinner but a lunch meal for sure.Update- this meal did NOT do right by me yesterday. I woke up in the middle of the night in excruciating pain. I've had many different fried food in the past and I've never reacted the way I did yesterday.

A while back I wanted to try as many fried chicken spots in the city and got to try the Nashville chicken sandwhich from Chen Chen’s which I really enjoyed. This time thanks to Yelp I got to go back and try out the Szechuan flavour. I got the mild option and it still had a kick. I love the sauce and pickle combo. The bun was also a great texture. It was also a decent size and I don’t feel full from it, so recommend getting a combo.It’s tucked away on the side of Queen Street, and doesn’t have washrooms available to the public. The prices are reasonable and the service was great. They even had Easter chocolate available.It’s easy to find parking and streetcars are nearby. It wasn’t that busy when I went in during the lunch hour o Thursday afternoon.I love that it is a mom and pop shop and southern comfort food is always a good to have nearby in the city.Make sure to check it out!From 3 years ago,I got the the hot chicken sandwich in a mild form. I love the sauce that is used in this fried chicken sandwich and the batter is phenomenal. Definitely satisfies my fried chicken craving. Friendly staff, check them out if your in Kensington market

As a spicy ?️ food enthusiast, Chen Chen’s POULTRYGEIST level was perfect. If there is a place to try spicy things, I will sign the waiver and challenge myself.I enjoyed every bite that gave me slightly burning lips & appreciated extra napkins provided to blow my nose.Apart from being spicy, sweet brioche, sweet aoli & coleslaw complimented chicken well, Nashville hot chicken was covered with good amount of sauce, yet it was crunchy!I liked their side of potato salad not to be too sweet and it helped me to cool down the heat.Spicy food lovers out there, if you have not tried this place, you are missing out.

We got the Nashville hot chicken - the ghost pepper heat level which was pretty hot. Really good bun and the spice hit the spot on a cold snowy day. We bought waffle fries which were amazing. I wish they gave sightly more aoli. The service was really good. Sam was super nice and friendly. Even without asking, he cut the sandwich into half. The sandwich itself is pretty big enough to feed two. Plus the waffle fries and coke made it all the more filling. Knocked off a star because they didn't serve water. This was super European. Very rarely you see restaurants forcing you to buy water here.Restrooms are downstairs and have cool superhero and superwoman wallpaper and signs.Vegetarian options: Waffle fries

Great mac & cheese. Chicken is very tender.I ordered chicken tenders with “Mild” level spiciness. It was spicy to the point i couldn’t enjoy it and threw them out. And i know spiciness is subjective but you could see a whole bunch of spicy seasoning on the chicken too. As it is subjective i won’t leave a bad review because some braver people than me might enjoy it still.
