Absolutely delicious! You can tell trom one bite that the whipped cream and hazelnut spread are made fresh. The crepe itself is the PERFECT texture, the right balance of soft and chewy. We also tried their hot chocolate which was quite nice. I can't wait to come back!
Crepes are great when they are done as they should be, and these people know how to do it - thin, not too egg-y. If you have any doubt, you can see its owner prepare at it the counter. Chez Paul has created a cafe beyond the counter that feels intimate - even with people all around you have a sense of privacy. A lovely cafe.

The crepe was made super thin and crispy so it wasn't soggy at all. I got the vegetarian one with basil sauce instead of Tabasco because I can't eat spicy. They gave me a salad to start so that was nice. I'm not a big fan of Emmantel cheese but overall it was pretty good.

we were wandering, trying to find a breakfast place on a Sunday morning.after an hour of trying to find somewhere without a ridiculous queue, we came across Chez Paul... empty... didn't bode well, but we were hungry, so we ducked in and what a lucky find!The crepes were fresh and delicious!The coffees were original and (I don't want to say delicious again, but they were!). staff were so pleasant!next time we're in TO, we're coming back!

If i could give more than 5 stars, I would! I’ve been here a few times and keep forgetting to take photos of the crepes. Lovely space and fantastic staff. The crepes (both sweet and savoury) remind me of my time in France and taste so authentic: crepes are made to perfection with the perfect amount of flavour and chewiness, and ingredients are fresh. The Mega savoury crepe was incredible: perfect amount of cheese and perfectly flavoured mushrooms. Sweet fruit crepes were excellent. Highly recommend!

Love the breton crêpe here. Feel like in Brittany - France again (I lived few months in this area), it has the same taste and flavor. The crêpe comes out with a green salad which is a nice touch. Hope they will sell breton cidre as well ? So lucky I found one now in Toronto!
