It was an absolute delight to dine in at this cozy resto. The servers were so polite and friendly even on the phone call, and impeccable in the resto. The food was delicious, we ordered guac n chips, enchilada, gourmet chicken taco and caramel churro. I rarely like guac in Canada but they did a fabulous job. The chicken in taco was succulent (rotisserie chicken). The churro was not cloying and just right. Also, they close at 9 pm, but accomodated us untill 9:30 as were finishing our meals.Would def recommend the place.

Delicious ! We went for brunch and couldn’t have asked for a better meal. The best michelada I’ve had in toronro and by far the best Mexican experience to date as well. Great service too .. Go and Enjoy !

Great quality food for decent prices. The staff was nice and we had a blast, despite me not wanting to go out in the first place. Definitely on the regular list.

I mean what can one say but thank you Gerardo for an amazing culinary experience these past few years. I was there when Cinco first opened and had yet another fine meal tonight with a friend. Quality has stayed on point. The salsas are to die for and they make the meal that much more enjoyable. The creamy habanero is my fave but the others are all right up there. The staff are friendly. Ambience is rustic and the food is tight!Portions are fantastic. Please don’t change anything. Just make it better and better. Thank you!

I love Cinco so much. As someone who lives locally but works late, I often don't get to order from them as much as I'd like. But in the last two weeks I have picked up the MOST delicious food from them and can't wait for my next time. The half roast chicken dinner is a steal at $15 and feeds me for two nights! I've been telling everyone I know to make the effort to order from them. I look forward to sitting on their patio and even inside soon!! Great little neighbourhood gem and lovely people too.

Great little spot! The nachos were top tier and the food in general was a lot bigger than I expected. For example, I had the burrito with rice and salad and the portion was more than enough to keep me full for the rest of the day. The tacos were also loaded so 2 tacos turn into a full meal.Highly recommended as a dine in place that serves properly fresh food with great service. Will definitely be visiting again.

Small place making amazing food. The smoked jalapeño sauce was perfect. Awesome burrito. Veg taco. Great Margarita. Service was professional, fast, attentive.

Ahhh Cinco where to begin? I'm not a fan of writing bad reviews and so far I have never written a critical review based on a single visit. The real issue I have with Cinco isn't that it isn't good but that the staff are really hit or miss. It's been my experience that things are either really excellent or not great. Most of the staff there are absolutely wonderful and great at their jobs but it's been my experience on more than one occasion that there is a staff member who doesn't handle stress well. The last thing any restaurateur should do is place their stress on customers. One time is one thing but every time I've encountered you is quite another. That said Cinco has a lot of potential and somehow it's also the staff who make it good. The food portions are excellent and the cocktails are divine (I highly recommend trying their Margaritas).I'm not saying don't go there or you won't have a good time. Quite the contrary but be warned that the experience can be very different depending on who is there. Also if you are vegan look out because I've had really great and really terrible experiences dealing with that aspect of things there. I will leave you with an episode from my first encounter back when they first opened (this is how long of a chance I extended them for things to change). We arrived to check out the menu and enquired about vegan dishes (as none were presented as such on the original menu) to which we were told they could accommodate. However once the meal arrived covered in cheese and we made our server (who was also the person we asked about vegan dishes) aware of the issue her response was an unimpassioned "so?" and this my friends is why this establishment suffers.I honestly hope that things improve and that more people can enjoy it because there is a lot of potential with this place.

Absolutely go here. If they tell you there’s a wait, then wait. It’s worth it.The food is superb and the amount you get for the price is surprising (in a good way).Portions are generous, drinks are excellent, staff was super friendly. We went here for my fiancé’s birthday and we think it became our new favourite spot.
